What inspired you to start your own business?
After 25 years in the Police, I wanted a new challenge and felt I could do more to reduce the backlog in our courts whether family, civil or criminal and allow the Police to deal with criminals rather than civil disputes. I am good with people and honest with them. Honesty is my ethos and avoiding people and businesses going into debt are worthy goals.

Mediation is better when we are in the same room as we have a better understanding of the conflict, especially if it's land disputes or noise as we gain a perspective on the situation. However, we realise that this may cause rising tension.
We will do a risk assessment first and if it's appropriate we will come out. If not we do online. If we are conducting a commercial then it's appropriate to on online as we can record the conversation.

If you are dealing with children or Adult Social services then I can assist with explaining Child protection plans, the legality around them and an explanation or advise you on what to do.
I am a former Child protection officer in the Police and attended many Child protection plan meetings
CAFCASS meetings explained and can attend with you as an advisor and an Independent witness.
