What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to create a garden that customers will get great enjoyment from. Taking a customers initial thoughts on function and turning that into something beautiful. I am also hugely passionate about plants and even before being a Garden Designer got great enjoyment from experimenting in my own garden areas.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to do something that I really enjoyed. I had spent most of my working life to date in the commercial world as a director within different companies and wanted to get out of the daily grind of the commute and politics of working within a company. I had decided I wanted to be my own boss and combine that with a passion.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am very hard working, very honest and upfront, and am something of a perfectionist. I will do my very best to create gardens my customers can really enjoy. I also have experience of working with budgets so will do all I can to make sure projects run smoothly to plan. I can manage the design phase and then assist with project managing the tender to ensure the best value for money with contractors and then the quality of the build itself.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
We really need to see the property to properly design the garden customers are looking for to get a feel for the location and what we are working with. Plus a surveyor will likely need to visit the property to get an accurate survey. A lot of the work is remote, working on the design in the studio, but there will be some need for visiting clients.
