We hired this DJ for a wedding party, this will be an honest review of how I feel the night went. First off let me say that Roman did not try to phone me 100 times like all the other DJ’s I enquired about and this was great and one of the reasons we picked him. roman was in time and communicated with us well. all his equipment is great and do not have anything bad to say about this and also he gave us a very good price and was early to set up. we had to ask him a few times to play our play list as it seemed like he wanted to just do his own thing my wife does not like cheese music so she was set on the play list being played. When we asked Roman to play our play list he said this was our one and trust me it was not he eventually found our play list. Now for the bad parts we had sent him specific times of a song to play for our first dance but he just started playing the song from the beginning so my wife had to go and sort that that out, not really what you want for your first dance. There was also a moment in the night where he asked if the bar was free and when my wife said no he kind of seemed like he had a problem with that. We did pay for Roman to also have starters mains and desserts, we just didn’t have a free bar. We have now been hassled by him every week to leave a review for what he calls a top class service. I think if your not getting a reply after the first time you ask for a review it’s probably best that you don't keep hassling people to leave you a review as now I'm writing this one and would rather had just not had to write a negative review. I do understand why he has 5 star reviews as it seems like a lot of them are party’s and a bit of pop and cheese being blasted out would be great for people. In my opinion don’t cheap out on a DJ for your wedding it’s probably the only thing we regret from the evening. More...

I highly recommend Roman. Romand performed as a pianist and later as a DJ for our party at home. He was professional throughout and has excellent equipment, including lights, smoke machines, speakers, decks. keyboard, mic and frames.

The party was a huge success, and Roman played a key part in that. The piano alongside welcome drinks really set the right tone from the start, and I had a lot of feedback from people that they had a great time in the disco later. I provided a playlist which Roman made adjustments to keep the crowd engaged.

Roman also was flexible around extending the booked time to accommodate the party, so everyone had a great time... including, I believe, Roman!

I've recommended him to all the party guests and have no hesitation in doing to so you too. More...

Roman arrived early and was rapidly setting up, ready in plenty of time to start the disco once our young adults had arrived. Right from the start the music got everyone moving.Everything considered, there was nothing missing from our Saturday night disco: Powerful sound; well selected songs in the same taste as our list; lighting at both ends of the hall; lasers; plenty of smoke used throughout the evening; the DJ took requests and got them smoothly into the mix!Everything was easy to arrange and communication was easy. Roman was helpful, polite and easy to get on with all the time.We chose DJ Grooves because our comparison with similarly priced offerings detected they were less equipped. Roman provided the music for my 60 th Birthday party in February 2026. It really helped the party go well. Roman provided the music forMy 60th Birthday party. We had a 1960s theme and he catered well with 1960s and more modern music. Lots of dancing and great lights and set up. He also played piano for the beginning while everyone was arriving which is just what we wanted. He was flexible with timing on the day based on how the evening was going.
