How long have you been in business?
Although our business is fairly new, my partner and I both bring over 25 years of experience in the adult, child, and special needs care sector, along with 10 years in hospitality and cleaning services, having worked in a variety of roles throughout the years. After relocating to the area a few years ago, we quickly recognized the significant need for both social care and cleaning services.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
We have our own supplies and equipment, including eco-friendly options. Or if you prefer, we can use any supplies you provide.
What inspired you to start your own business?
With the North Coast 500 passing through the heart of local communities and the proximity to famous destinations like Royal Dornoch and other renowned golf courses, the region thrives on tourism. A major part of this tourism infrastructure includes a variety of holiday homes, Airbnb’s, and static caravans in holiday parks. The aging population and increased reliance on at-home care has also created a surge in demand for home support that the NHS Highlands is unable to service.
In response to this demand, we established Divine and Shine Ltd to provide professional cleaning and home/social care services for individuals, families, and elderly clients. We also specialize in holiday homes and lets, ensuring they are spotless and guest-ready for every changeover.

Floors: vacuum hard floors, then mop with pH-balanced solution suited to the surface (wood, tile, laminate).
