Have been playing since three and a half, current head of keyboard Leicestershire County Council, Piano 2 at Moulin Rouge (probationary period), Keys for Ibiza Club Classic, the last two years I’ve been delving into funk piano, musician for hire.

Derek is an amazing Piano teacher! We had tried several teachers before we met Derek but my children were not making progress. Within only a few months under Derek I could see a world of difference. He was able to restore their confidence and teach them Pieces they could relate to and enjoy. Even though we have online lessons, i have seen my sons improve and learn very difficult pieces much faster than when they had face to face lessons with other teachers. Derek is a brilliant, patient and kind teacher who is excellent at teaching the piano and we feel very lucky to have met him. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing students achieve their targets, sharing their music with an audience and winning competitions.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love to help people, it started when I was in secondary school and I knew my calling was to teach the piano.
