German Translation
Researching family history, came across a document from WW2 about my uncle who was a soldier who died on the battlefield. The documents were written in old German . Got in touch with Debbie sent docs by e-mail, next day received e- mail with translation and on the afternoon Debbie contacted me by phone to explain in more detail and if I had any further questions. German Lessons
Debbie is so so lovely, each week she sets some stuff for me to go over and i send her voice notes of my working and she sends me feedback throughout the week between lessons its really helpful as i feel like i am always learning even between the lesson breaks. In lessons they are always tailored to what i need to learn specifically to pass onto the next level and she has the perfect worksheets to complement it which is something you cannot do by yourself. i would 100% recommend Debbie for tutoring! What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy seeing my students grow in confidence and achieving their goals. I enjoy putting together and delivering a lesson that I know will be just right for my student.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own tutoring business in 2017 so that I could focus on the individual and create a learning experience that would be tailor-made for each student.

Primary School Tutoring (4-11)
Bespoke lessons to help meet your child’s specific needs. English and maths teaching.
Help with phonics, literacy and numeracy for Years 3-6.
Preparation for Year 6 SATS tests:
English comprehension, spellings, grammar and punctuation (SPaG).
Maths for Years 3-6: reasoning and arithmetic skills as well as individual topics, such as fractions, decimals and percentages.
Sharing resources from Twinkl and White Rose maths for both lessons and homework tasks.
GCSE (AQA) English language and literature
English language and literature lessons for students in Years 7-11 who need to develop their confidence in this area of the curriculum. For those preparing for GCSE English language or literature, I can give plenty of tips and strategies for improving grades in analysing language, comprehending texts and using grammar correctly.
French lessons
Confidence building for speaking French, whether it is for an upcoming holiday, a move to France or preparation for an exam. Also, tips and strategies given for the exam components at GCSE or A-Level with past papers to practise. Grammar and vocabulary revision for each topic. Excellent resources and lots of patience.
