I have seen many positive reviews and I had left an earlier 4 star review myself, stating that they were easy to work with.
Therefore I am a genuine customer.
Liz (admin) was very responsive and polite (of course when they want your business it's all nice and easy).
However, things quickly went downhill.
The first cleaner I had was Gemma, she did an ok job but then refused to come again. Fair enough, that's her choice. She refused any further contact with me and it seems from Linda in the office - 1st red flag.
I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and so the next cleaner was Cherise - she was excellent but for some reason, her car was taken away from her due to insurance complications which I only heard about AFTER she was late for our appointment. I never heard from her again nor did Liz offer her services again - bad communication - 2nd red flag.
Again, I put this down to unfortunate circumstance. The next cleaner was Helen. She did a terrible job and so I asked for a replacement - this was to be the last chance if things didn't work out - 3rd red flag - they do not seem to vet or train the cleaners.
Finally I got Talia. Good clean, not great like Cherise. So this next situation was on me - early November Talia received a parking ticket which I said I would pay.
Here are the messages:

they car is in my partners name so they letter is in his name

Not your fault, sorry about that. Can you text me the registration number of your car, the website to make the payment and amount to pay please, thanks.
I’ve got a permit you can use in the secure allocated car park on the 11th.

As far as I was concerned I had paid the ticket and I let Talia know it had been paid. After a few weeks Talia received a letter demanding an increased fine as it had not been paid - unbeknown to me. It turns out that there was something wrong with the online payment system and it had not taken my initial payment.
It was now December 2022, I had just arrived in Saudi Arabia on the 19/12/22 with 18 other family members on a religious trip (I take this very seriously - just as some people take Christmas seriously). I was trying to refrain from using my phone as much as possible to keep away from worldly distractions. Nevertheless, I did not have an active Saudi SIM until the 20th and so did not have mobile data or network connection until then. I only got wifi on arrival to the hotel on the evening of the 19th.
Below are the messages I recieved from Talia and Liz during the day of 19/12/22 whilst I was in transit with no network connection:
From Talia to Liz:
Liz. the ticket nasseem said he had paid
he didn't pay it, now it's gone up even more and i can't afford to pay it a week before christmas. if he wasn't going to pay it i would've paid the reduced amount originally
what can i do about this? as he's not answering me now
Naseem please advise urgently.

The fine had been increased to £100 because Talia took you at your word when you said you'd pay it.
I've seen the exchange of text messages and therefore please advise her tomorrow that it has been paid.

As you can see, the situation escalated very quickly to unwarranted abuse and threats.
It was NEVER my intention to not pay the fine. I am a man of his word. Once I managed to read the messages and get the details to pay the fine, I paid the increased fine IN FULL immediately.
Whilst I can fully understand the frustration, the threats and abuse were absolutely not necessary and very unprofessional.
Suffice to say, that was the last straw for me and I would not be using them again and would heartily recommend people to stay away from them.
They are not well trained cleaners, there is no consistency in the standard of cleaner you get. They are highly unprofessional and disorganised.
I have since been using another company who are absolutely amazing.
I look forward to hear what their response is to this review.

I thank this customer for his four star review that was given initially by him when he signed up with us and was allocated his housekeeper. I will respond to the customer in the language that he will understand for the points that he has raised. First red flag. We very rarely are told by a Housekeeper that she will not return to a job. This gentleman‘s first housekeeper Gemma informed the office that she would not return to his home and did not want to have any contact with him. As I have explained, we were very surprised by this, but it is the housekeepers prerogative to not return as she is self-employed. He was informed by us at the time and the reasons why she would not return to his home so he is fully aware. Our housekeeper has never asked us to not return to any other job she has been given in the years she has worked for us. We find it surprising that given this situation he claims that he had a red flag about our company when it was himself that created the situation that the Housekeeper did not want to return to his home. It was nothing to do with us as a company it is purely down to him. Second red flag. Cherise was allocated the customer and she did have an appointment with him which he claims she was late for. It is written in our agency contract as well as every other agency contract we have ever looked at that the housekeeper cannot guarantee the time of arrival. This is due to unforeseen circumstances that can occur with traffic when the ladies are travelling between jobs. Cherise chose not to return to his job also, which is why he was not allocated her again. He was informed of this at the time but we have a red flag from him for this again. Third red flag. The gentleman was allocated another Housekeeper Helen and he thought she was not as good so requested a further housekeeper. This is unusual, however we were happy to offer him another housekeeper in this situation, as would any cleaning agency. If a customer requests to change the housekeeper, it is not a problem. It is written in our contract as it is in any agency contract. Fourth red flag. We can see from the correspondence that this situation, as he claims escalated and we do not condone the Housekeepers actions. However, as the lady was understandably frustrated and unable to get a response from the customer, she’s saw fit to use the language that she did. The customer albeit explained after a period on none response that he thought this was sorted out. However it was not. The lady was in a situation where she thought, as she was not given any further information at the time that he was avoiding her and misleading her also over this period of time. The situation caused our Housekeeper huge stress as it was just before Christmas and she was very concerned about money and the well-being of her children’s Christmas. This particular housekeeper has a very limited budget and the thought of a £100 fine just before Christmas distressed her massively. As you can imagine when she was not receiving any correspondence over time from the customer, she jumped to the conclusion that he was avoiding her, under the circumstances, I would imagine most people would come to the same conclusion. Fifth red flag. This customer claims that our ladies are trained poorly and not vetted. Firstly, we would say that it is not our obligation to train a housekeeper as no agencies do this. This is not written in our contract and we class his accusations and inference of us not complying to our contract as defamation of our good company name. The customer clearly does not realise the obligation of an agency role. We feel we go above and beyond the normal boundaries of a cleaning agency as you can see by our fantastic reviews. As it happens, all of the housekeepers that this gentleman was supplied with are ladies who have cleaned for us for a number of years and are very experienced. They still work for us today and have their usual clients which they clean for weekly. If we thought that there was a problem with any Housekeeper and the work she did we would look into this ourselves, but we have not needed to do so. The gentleman claims that our housekeepers are not vetted. This is completely untrue and is a false accusation, which he will have to justify further down the line. He also states that our administration was disorganised. I would point out that normally when we allocate a housekeeper to a home we do not have to then re allocate numerous housekeepers to that home. I have looked into our administration in regards to this customer, the office, allocated the housekeepers in a timely and professional manner. This can be demonstrated in the customers four star review when he joined. The gentleman leaves his review by saying he is interested in what we are going to say in response to his review. Our response is that we are contacting our solicitors as we find this review to be defamatory to our good name and misleading.
