Q&As

I love that Cristal Healthcare Services are able to bring smiles to the faces of clients and their loved ones/relatives with our exceptional compassionate care.

As a practicing GP (General Practitioner), I realised that having exceptionally well trained and experienced caregivers in the community would improve client experience, ensure appropriate and excellent care to those who requires it as well as improve the health care system.

As a practicing GP, i know the importance of proper and appropriate carers and impact / difference it makes in care giving. I have employed carers who are simply the best and never had any complaints from any of clients. Our carers go above and beyond to ensure quality care delivered to all our clients and they remain professional at all times.

NO and this is because , care giving is carried out with the clients face to face.

The company ensures that all our clients are protected from covid infection being passed onto them as we do know that most of our clients are vulnerable due to either medical issues or due to age.
We ensure that our carers are vaccinated and if any carer is not vaccinated, we make this known to our client during the assessment assuming that carer is preferred by our client and so we are transparent with our care giving. we also ensure that any carer with symptoms are not allowed to work until tests negative to covid infection.

Services

What is call-in (hourly) care?
Our flexible service ranges from 1 hour to 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, including bank holidays. It also includes sleepover night care and waking night care. Our call in care service can be tailored to meet your needs.

Who is call-in (hourly) care for?
Hourly care is a flexible service for those looking for high quality but low-level assistance

When older people begin to need help with daily activities most families prefer the option of continuing to live in their own home rather than having to move into a care home.

Live-in care gives elderly people and elderly couples the ability to continue to live independently at home, safe in the knowledge that 24 hour care is on hand from a trained carer to help with anything from companionship, cooking, cleaning through to personal care, medication management or more complex support for specialist conditions such as dementia care, Parkinson’s care or post stroke care. Our services also offers genuine continuity of care given that the carer resides in the client’s home on a weekly basis, ensuring that companionship and friendship are a key part of the service.

How is our live-in care different?
Live-in care has many advantages over receiving hourly care at home or moving into a residential care home. Not only is your loved one able to continue to enjoy the surroundings and lifestyle with which they are familiar, especially important when living with a condition such as dementia, but they also receive continuity of care enabling them to build a trusted relationship with their carer.

24 hour care at home is uniquely tailored to the needs of each family with a plan of care developed around your daily routines and the outcomes you wish to achieve. Care is provided by two professional, trained carers who will typically rotate on a 1 or 2 week shift pattern. They are matched to your needs and always introduced before care begins.

Unlike most live-in care providers we offer a local service which is managed, supported and quality assured from our local offices. This includes our local care management team carrying out weekly support visits to ensure the client and carer are happy.

Live in care is also a cost effective option compared to residential care homes, particularly for couples who would otherwise be required to pay for two beds in a care home or nursing home.

We provide the right support for people with learning disabilities to ensure their experience of life matches their plans and potential.

We listen to what the people we support and their families tell us. They tell us what their diagnosis means to them, about the different challenges they face, and the personalised support they need in order to live the lives they choose.

We support people with learning disabilities to live independently, in shared supported housing, small supported group homes homes, apartments, bungalows or in specifically adapted houses .

Support for adults with learning disabilities.

Support for children with learning disabilities.

Our approach is to be person-centred and to put the people we support at the heart of everything we do. We use a range of person-centred thinking tools and plans to put this into practice.

At Cristal Healthcare we fully appreciate the pressures and stress that providing long-term care for a loved one can entail. Sometimes the opportunity to take a short break or even a holiday can make a huge difference, especially when helping somebody with a specialist condition such as dementia or Parkinson’s.

With respite care, one of our friendly, professional carers is able to step in to care for your loved one while you have a break. This may involve anything from companionship, cooking, cleaning through to personal care, medication management or more complex support for specialist conditions.

How long can respite care last?
A break from caring for somebody may last anything from a few days through to several weeks or more. It may simply involve an hour of respite care on a day or round-the-clock live-in care.

With Cristal Healthcare Services, you will receive GP support 24 hours a day from our Registered Manager Dr Mbah
