Arrived 30 minutes early and refused to come back. Phone calls were then ignored. Asked for a return on my deposit and was told Admin would email - heard nothing since.

Thanks for the forum to respond to the situation with your review. The summary is that 1* actually rates your communication, your abuse of our staff and not being there at the time of the job. We attended at the appointed time. No cleaning took place due to your absence. I put down the facts and detailed chronology of what happened below. 1. The cleaning visit was booked a few days before the visit for the 15th May. On this occasion no pre-assessment visit had been undertaken, at the property. Obviously the home owner would on site to take us around the property on a first visit. 2. The day before the visit on the 14/5 at about 3.30 pm a reminder email was sent out. We had on file your email where the initial quote was sent and accepted, and your mobile number was also on file. No communication was received, so we assumed the visit is all ok, as scheduled. 3. On the day of the visit 15/5 a SMS text reminder was sent approx. 1 hour before to remind you. In the email and text they give ann approximate arrival time within a 15 minute window 12:52 to 13:07. We received no communication at this stage from your self that you would not be in or running late. 4. At 12.31 our cleaner checked out of the previous job in Daventry and proceeded to your property at Nibbits lane, Braunston. 5. We then sent an “on my way” message which has a number in it you can respond to. However, it appears in this case the message bounced back or could not be sent probably due to poor signal. We often hit that issue in rural areas. 6. Our cleaner arrived at about 12.40, it’s physically impossible to have been there 30 minutes before the scheduled start time as you suggest. However, that is not the problem as long as they are present at the scheduled start time. 7. At 12.44 & 48 the cleaner texted both owners for guidance and any news on the situation, as no one was present at the property. 8. Our cleaner waited until at least 13:00. He had tried 2 managers for guidance on what to do with client not present. At 13:01 he logged a photo of your door in our system, You were not home. 9. At about 13:05 the owner Anna, phoned you and spoke to you to see shat was happening. The call started with you apologizing (for being late) and ended up with you abusing somebody trying to help you. You appeared at that time to be driving with other people in the car. There were further. incoming and outgoing callout at 13:14, 13:15 13:26 10. At 13:06 our cleaner “completed” the job in our system to close the visit and move on to his next activity. 11. Unfortunately our cleaner could not return later that afternoon but we offered to clean the following day Friday, or Monday, to which you refused. It appears that most likely you were running late but on neither of the reminders of our visit had you notified us of running late. Clearly if we know this, in advance, we can hang on. Otherwise how long do we hang on? 5 mins, 10 mins, 20 mins and even then you or any client may not turn up due to whatever circumstances. Our system has records of all these events and GPS location/time tagged events. Most likely you were running late, how late we do not know, to return home for the visit. Anybody still reading this, we can provide many references from many clients whom we’ve been visiting for more than 6 months where, other than Christmas or Easter holidays - when we try to re-arrange, we have visited regularly. Occasionally we have to substitute the cleaner visiting or occasionally the time of visit has to vary slightly. But this is house cleaning, not a life and death situation, and normally this is perfectly fine for both parties i.e. we also can adjust timing to react to client availability/requirements - however as we get busier this can sometimes be tricky. Also, for ongoing visits we often have key access, so the client does not need to be present.

Had my old dirty old massive tackled by cosy cleaners they did a fantastic job and also do extra work with so much care and the quality and good standard was unbelievable would recommend this company and use them again

Since the summer of 2024. It has been a passion of Anna's to set up her own business and here it is. Anna is OCD about the cleanliness of her home and some of this will pass on to you. Anna has previous experience of cleaning for other people and brings a passion to the job.

We usually being all our own equipment but we also often use your own vacuum and bucket and mop, where required.
We use eco-friendly cleaning products that are tried and tested.

Making clients happy and doing a good job is the main thing. Its a good feeling to leave a messy home looking tidy and very clean :-)

To have the freedom of my own business ( sometimes all hours / no freedom!) and to create something valuable to the community.

Professionalism

We turn up to work and appointments on time.

We are presentable and always wear our uniform and PPE as required.

We stick to out timings and estimates and clearly communicated in advance, to clients, if there is any divergence.

We complete our post clean report with clients every time.

We report into the office as required, usually on a daily basis. You will report to the office for distribution of equipment and chemicals, normally every day.

If you cannot turn up to work, you give us as much notice as practical. You realise with limited time you and Cosy will probably be letting a client down.

Reliable

We are very reliable. This is also part of professionalism and quality, but we undertake reasonable endeavours to be reliable, which means turning up to all client assignments, and on time.

Inevitably, things will go wrong, and in these circumstances good and prompt communication with your manager and/or the client, will help a lot and may save the day.

Not really, other than providing you with an estimate which we can do on Zoom or a phone call and perhaps a video of your property.
Otherwise after an initial phone/Zoom conversation we will visit your property to give an accurate estimate.
Of course, if you're clear you only want say 3 hours, we can quote for that remotely and book in a cleaning slot.

As we're post covid (well the pandemic part anyway) less special treatment is required, but we wear a uniform and protective clothing (PPE).

Services

General clean of a domestic property, usually on a period basis( weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).

Similar to general cleaning but the property is often empty and may need a deeper clean.

As an add on to regular cleaning we can also do quality ironing.

We go the extra mile and do additional tasks to really get your house clean.

This is often our first visit before regular maintenance cleans. Or it can be a one off, for instance when moving in or out of a house.

It takes a bit longer than a maintenance clean as additional techniques and time are required.
