Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
The garage conversion process begins with an initial consultation and design phase, where we discuss your needs, measure the space, and create a custom plan. We also check if planning permission is required and ensure the project complies with building regulations.
Next is preparation, which includes clearing the garage, removing the door, and installing a new wall or window. We then tackle structural modifications like raising the floor, adding insulation to the walls and ceiling, and making any necessary adjustments to the layout.
During the electrical and plumbing phase, we install wiring for lights, sockets, and heating, and lay pipes if plumbing is needed. Afterward, we move on to plastering, fitting windows, doors, and flooring, followed by decorating.
Finally, the project undergoes a building inspection to ensure it meets all standards. Once approved, we hand over the newly converted space for you to enjoy!
