I started my own business in 1995 and grew it organically to employ over 30 staff in 3 locations. During that time I managed to balance work with a plan for retirement before successfully selling my business to a competitor.
In the last few years of my business I studied to learn more about the technical parts of business which included financial planning, leadership and the management and empowerment of teams.

What do you love most about your job?
I get my biggest buzz from other peoples success. Being a listening ear to allow business owners to explore their ideas, assist in evaluating them and finally implementing them gives such a sense of achievement.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My parents inspired me to work for myself . I learnt pretty quickly that I was very good at doing my job, but quite bad at running or working "on" my business. After quite a lot of management training, I learnt so much from the mistakes I made in my own business and now enjoy mentoring other businesses through a mixture of experience, technical knowledge and understanding good practice
Why should our clients choose you?
I work on the principle of keeping things simple. To use real life examples and help clients properly understand how to get the best results and quickly. My other expertise is in identifying key staff and ensuring they have the environment to help a business grow which leads to better staff satisfaction and retention.

Yes. Many of the clients I work with are remote. I use Zoom & teams equally. Much of the management accounts is also done online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I offer both Zoom and Teams meeting along with telephone or remote services.
