Beware of this tradesman. During his visit to my property for quotation purposes Mr Stuart Turner, the director of this one-man company, impersonated himself as a Panasonic approved installer, which was necessary to attract the manufacturer's extended 5-year warranty for parts and labour. However, despite his demand for me to pay 50% upfront, 2 weeks in advance of the agreed installation date, his first quote was unacceptably defective in its format and contents. If I accepted this quote, it would be very difficult for me to claim any of my money back in case he did not perform his contractual obligations properly, if at all. In response to my proposal for amendments he has issued yet another defective quote and has refused to correct it, saying that he is 'too busy and there isn’t enough profit to keep amending [his] quotes'. Most importantly, he has failed to somehow confirm in writing that the installation will be done by a Panasonic approved installer who will certify it accordingly, and he will supply a brand-new units and not refurbished or "opened box" or otherwise used once. This failure speaks volumes about his real intentions. More...
