What inspired you to start your own business?
My motivation stems from addressing the unmet care needs of our growing population. I am drawn passionately to caregiving due to personal experiences and genuine desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. I believe that a successful homecare service has a definite impact on wider population and economy. Not only that homecare services enhances well-being but also extends healthy life expectancy, allowing individuals to thrive in their communities. By meeting these needs, we alleviate pressure on primary care and hospitals. Also, Home-based care is often more cost-effective than hospital or residential care. Local authorities benefit from cost savings, allowing them to allocate funds strategically across different services. Additionally, it can be a huge contribution to creating jobs and supports related industries thereby having an impact on overall regional economy.

No because many aspects of home care require a caregiver to be physically present to assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Remote care cannot replace the hands-on support needed for these tasks.
Also, some patients need regular medical attention, including administering medications, wound care, or monitoring vital signs. These tasks often require professional skills and equipment that are not feasible to manage remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Ensuring the policies around infection prevention and safety of service users, staff and equipment’s are maintained. This will be through:
Encourage Staff vaccination
Use of appropriate PPE for infection prevention and control
Recovery Planning with COVID 19 as part of Business Continuity Plan
Training and development of staff for the purpose of Recognition of symptoms on both patient and staff leading to safe management or treatment of COVID 19
Compassionate Care at Home for Everyone
The company will provide Adult Domiciliary care services for 18 y/o, and above which can be both private & prospectively those who are funded by the Health Service. The services we offer are categorized into key areas: Personal care, Daily task, Daytime activities and social interaction. These supports are available as Live-in care, Night care, Day care or visits, Reablement service, Palliative or end of life, Memory impairment care and Respite care.
