Comedy Event
Provision of all production requirements for a comedy club night, inclding comedians appropriate to the client's needs and objectives based on their budget.
This includes but is not limited to: lights, PA, microphones, backdrops.
It does NOT include promotion, advertising or any responsibility for the sale of tickets to the event.
Standup Comedian (No content restrictions)
Performances of 20 - 90 minutes of "straight standup". I.e. It will contain jokes delivered mostly thru spoken word but may include a cappella song-fragments during vignettes and/or impressions.
The audience should be prepared for but not necessarily expect some of the following: adult themes, frequent use of coarse and foul language, blasphemy, ridicule of religions and/or political stances, references to addiction, bathroom activities, drug use, sex work and other themes some may find offensive.
Musical Comedian (No Content Restrictions)
Performances of 20 - 90 minutes of musical comedy. I.e. The majority of the performance will be comedy songs or song fragments, or comedy items that depend on musical elements. The rest will be spoken links and/or audience interaction.
The audience should be prepared for but not necessarily expect some of the following: adult themes, frequent use of coarse and foul language, blasphemy, ridicule of religions and/or political stances, references to addiction, bathroom activities, drug use, sex work and other themes some may find offensive.
Comedy Compere / MC
A comedian to introduce other comedians, after-dinner speakers and warm up event attendees. Optionally, the compere can interact with the audience - i.e. banter.
Banter may include playful lampooning of audience members, but nothing that could be construed as "roasting".
Comedy Compere / MC (Roasting Banter)
A comedian for a comedy club night or private event who will roast members of the audience with no restrictions on material or projections, fabrications or other insinuations about the audience members' personal lives, sexual proclivities, religious beliefs, criminal, medical and financial histories or any other topic the average person may be inhibited to discuss.
