Excellent service for myself provided by Clarity Homecare - Altrincham & North Cheshire. My mobility is poor, and I needed someone to be ‘around’ whilst I had a shower and washed my hair in case, I had a problem. Both ladies who visit me are friendly and reassuring and help me if necessary. They also do other tasks like, washing up, emptying the indoor bins, changing my bedclothes and any other tasks I need doing. If they have time, they will have a chat too which lifts my spirits as living on your own can get boring. Without any exaggeration, if you had to invent a care company that provided this level of excellent management and daily care, you would invent this one. Nothing is too much trouble, they are extremely attentive and respond immediately. The carers are very well chosen by management and their supervision and delivery is excellent. I fully recommend this company. Clarity were recommended to us when we were looking at care for our auntie and I am so grateful for the recommendation. The team genuinely care and the level of service was above and beyond. They cared for and treated my auntie exactly as we would and formed close bonds with their continuity of care. From the moment I spoke to Jack, when looking for care for my Auntie, I knew that Clarity Homecare would be able to provide the care we needed for her. I had spoken to a few other companies beforehand, as this was the first time we’d needed to seek care for a family member, Jack answered all our questions and guided us through our options really well. Over the time my Auntie has had the care from Clarity she has been happy and struck up some lovely friendships, which makes us very happy. Jack and Jessica are always at the end of the phone when we need to speak to them or if we message them and likewise, they would ring us or message with any concerns or queries. They themselves and their lovely team have gone above and beyond with my Auntie’s & our needs, when situations have arisen that we couldn’t have foreseen. Including sudden illness, falls and hospitalization, they have dealt swiftly with my Auntie’s situation and with our requests, when we can’t get to her quickly enough. I personally can’t recommend Clarity Homecare highly enough. Not only do they support my Auntie brilliantly, they are a huge comfort to us, as we know she’s in safe, professional, caring hands. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the wonderful carers who came to assist Mum when she broke her wrist. The whole process from my initial enquiry for help, the speed of the first meeting and the subsequent start to her visits was seemless. Mum got on very well with the lovely friendly ladies who came to assist her with her personal care and general assistance, until she could regain her independence once the cast was off. What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is knowing that the work we do genuinely makes a difference in people’s lives every single day. Having spent many years in the corporate world, I found success but often felt disconnected from any real impact. Now, working in homecare, I can see firsthand how the right support helps people stay independent, feel safe, and enjoy a better quality of life. It’s incredibly rewarding to build relationships not just with our service users, but also with their families, and to know that the care we provide brings comfort and peace of mind. For me, it’s so much more meaningful than anything I’ve done before.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business after experiencing the care journey with my grandmother, who lived with dementia. During that time, I saw both the challenges of poor-quality care and the incredible difference that truly person-centred, compassionate care can make to someone’s wellbeing. That experience stayed with me, and I knew I wanted to create something positive from it. Starting Clarity Homecare Altrincham has given me the opportunity to provide the kind of support I would have wanted for my own family, delivering great care in my local community and helping people live with dignity, independence, and comfort in their own homes.
