Christo is ‘the’ man you need for all your photography needs, pre and post-wedding! We hired Christo just a few months before our wedding in Hockwold Hall in Norfolk after our initial photographer had to cancel (pregnancy! )—and it turned out to be an absolute blessing in disguise! From the first online meetings to meeting him in person on the big day, Christo was even more fun and personable than we could have hoped for. He’s all about making your experience personalised and ensuring you have a magnificent time with gorgeous photos to cherish. What really stood out to us was how unpretentious and non-transactional he was compared to other photographers we considered. Christo quickly shot to the top of our shortlist, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. He arrived early on the wedding day, ready to capture every moment. And let me tell you, Christo goes above and beyond! He’ll seize every opportunity for a perfect shot, even if it means ripping his trousers while chasing the perfect sunset! 😂 But don’t worry, he’s all business (with juice or water only!) during the shoot, though he’s definitely someone you’d love to grab a drink with afterward. Our guests (and even our 3 dogs) absolutely loved him, and the stunning pictures he took of us are simply beyond words. To top it all off, the photos were up on his website within a week—no long waiting! He even has a great social media following and shared highlights of our day over six days on Instagram, which kept the excitement going long after the wedding. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say this: Christo is amazing, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. This is the guy you want! Christo did an absolutely fantastic job for our wedding photography. When looking for services online, you're never quite sure what you're going to get, but after making contact with him our minds were quickly put at ease. He was very professional and friendly from the beginning, and asked all the right questions. We had two video calls where he went into a LOT of detail about every specific shot we wanted. At the wedding he didn't just hide in the corner taking shots. He really went out of his way to socialise, and chat to everyone. His professional, yet relaxed mood certainly made me (groom) feel totally at ease while waiting for my bride! He even straightened my tie, and the aisle carpet before the ceremony started! His website is very easy to use with the personal online gallery being set up in such a way that friends and family can easily view all the photos by us simply sharing a link! An error in planning left us without a wedding photographer. I contacted Christo and was so pleased I did. He is charming helpful and a great photographer. He responded immediately and was open to any suggestions and ideas we had. He was punctual, arrived with a colleague who was also charming and stayed with us until the event was over. I can honestly say, that I couldn’t be happier, he certainly captured the moment ! He went above and beyond with communication, professionalism, timekeeping and the photo album is off the scale. I booked booked Christo Simson on behalf of Kore.ai for a corporate drinks reception on top of Tower Bridge. In the lead up to the booking, Christo was helpful and professional and listened to the type of service we wanted and was very responsive when asked questions. On the day of the event, Christo arrived on time and was set up in good time before the start. Throughout the event, Christo was professional and engaged with guests when taking photos without disturbing conversations and captured some really stunning photos of everyone. Without asking Christo went above and beyond in providing an extra special photography service and delivered the finished photos well ahead of the delivery date. I don’t usually write reviews, but my husband and I were so so pleased with our experience with Christo that I just had to.
From our first conversation I could tell that Christo was really paying attention to our vision for out wedding photography. We’re quite fussy (very fussy) and we are mind blown that Christo was able to get exactly what we wanted and really capture moments from the day that I couldn’t have even imagined.
On top of all that, he was so polite and really approachable, so we never felt uncomfortable asking him for things we specifically wanted. We would 100% recommend him and we will definitely be contacting him for future events!!
