We recently hired chef Simon McKenzie and the team for a big birthday celebration at our home. Having never done this before we really did not know what to expect, but the whole evening completely surpassed our best expectations. When I first began reaching out to chefs and caterers for my wedding, my priority was finding someone who wasn’t just a typical mass caterer churning out events. I wanted someone with personality, exceptional service, and high-quality food. Over the course of the year, Simon and I collaborated to create a personalised menu, including a bespoke dessert my husband and I enjoyed every time we visited Switzerland. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
As I say to all clients, my menus are my suggestions however if you have a particular favourite dish which doesn't feature on my menu, please request it and, if at all possible, I will include it for you.
We are always looking to accommodate requests and make your event that extra special and memorable for you.
What do you love most about your job?
For me it's the journey. From the initial enquiry to booking and then the planning ahead of the day to delivering events for our clients with them knowing they are in safe hands and can relax and feel like a guest at their own party.
The feedback I get from my clients I find both humbling and overwhelming and I get a huge sense of pride seeing how much their guests are enjoying themselves, and, in-turn my clients pride at having me as their caterer to deliver their event beyond their expectations.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business as I was fed up with restaurants and running kitchen only to be disappointed by the people employed around me falling short of my exacting standards.
Within my business I am wholly responsible for everything and choose only to work with the most highly skilled professionals that can represent my brand to the high standards which I demand.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a client you should choose me over my competitors as I am as passionate about delivering your event for you as your are about hosting it. I take the responsibility very serious and personal and have excessive attention to details and constantly micro manage my team to ensure everything goes exactly as planned.
I strive at every opportunity to deliver quality and luxury; from choosing the finest ingredients, to crockery, to service standards; I do not accept second best and would never consider delivering second best to a client who has entrusted me with their event.
I pride myself on every event I'm entrusted with and treat it as it were my own and want you as my client to return to me time and time again knowing I will deliver at every occasion.
Private Chef
Unlike other private chefs I bring a whole restaurant experience to you. Cutlery, crockery, glassware, linen and even the service team!
Expect us to transform your home or venue into a private dining room for the evening.
We bring everything we require with us, from restaurant equipment such as trays etc to all kitchen equipment small and at times large. This way your utensils and pans are damaged. We thoroughly clean our work areas once we are finished and take all refuse away with us.

Weddings, corporate events and boardrooms to multi day events, we approach each with the same passion and drive to impress and are always on hand to help plan and advise through the journey to the big day meaning you can relax knowing you are in safe hands.
Weddings
We can plan all aspects of your big day. We are on hand throughout the journey to your big day and can advise and organise everything from timings, staffing, bars, photographers, marquees and stretch tents to all furniture, glassware, crockery and cutlery.
Event Planning
Not only from our experiences throughout all of the many bespoke events we have helped plan since opening in 2019 but all of the experiences gained in the many leading hotels and venues my team and I have worked over the many years in hospitality means we have the knowledge to ensure your event goes off on the day without a hitch and you can relax knowing you are in safe hands.
