Catering by Erik Barre did an amazing job catering my 30th birthday. The service throughout the booking process right until the end of the event was fantastic. Nicola was super friendly and easy to communicate with in the lead up. Both her and Erik were friendly, accommodating and hospitable during the event and left the kitchen looking spotless. Last but by no means least, the food! The food was absolutely delicious. There were so many fantastic dishes to pick from to create our own menu and every dish we tasted so great. Dealing with Nicola from the start was always a pleasure. She was always available and very helpful. The selection was great, something for everyone.

Erik cooked a special meal for our daughter's 40th birthday - 8 of us. The food was fabulous, with vegan guests particularly impressed. We had a fabulous surprise meal for Bob cooked by Erik and Nicola. The food was excellent, as was the service. Erik and Nicola looked after us very well. Simply a fantastic experience from start to finish! We booked Chef Erik for a dinner party (8 guests) at an Airbnb we'd rented, and it was the absolute highlight of our girls weekend. Mouthwatering food, beautiful presentation, great value for money, spotless cleanup afterwards and very kind and friendly service from Erik and Nicola throughout. Erik and Nicola’s service was absolutely spot on! We booked Erik for a surprise meal for a 70th birthday celebration. The menu choices were exquisite, with plenty of choice for vegetarians. It was also no bother to adapt the menu for gluten free too, and it was a beautiful gluten free version of what everyone else was having, not something different, which can be disappointing! Erik and Nicola were very attentive and couldn’t have done anything more for us. They left the kitchen absolutely spotless. Chef Erik was polite and friendly. The food was fantastic!!

We are so pleased we used Catering by Erik Barre for our special family dinner party and would highly recommend them. From my initial enquiry to the end of the superb meal - the whole process was first class. Nicola was very helpful in the planning stage and on the night, Chef Erik prepared, cooked and served us delicious food which was beautifully presented and plenty of it! He was very professional but also relaxed and friendly and keen that everything was to our satisfaction. This is the first time we have used a "home chef" and as Nicola and Erik provided such an affordable and enjoyable experience, we would definitely use them again. More...

Erik cooked 11 of us dinner at a Hen Party this weekend. As a group we couldn't be more complimentary of the service he provided. From start to finish it was amazing. Erik and Nicola were incredibly easy to communicate with, very accommodating and incredibly helpful with the dietary requirements our group had. Narrowing down our menu options was the most challenging part as everything looked amazing on the menu!! On the day the process was so easy, Erik worked his magic in the kitchen allowing us all to enjoy ourselves thoroughly. He even provided lovely plates to serve on making the experience even more special. We only had to provide the kitchen and the cutlery! The food was phenomenal. Every course was delicious and none of us could quite believe how lovely the food we were consuming was! It was a complete treat. Erik and Nicola are lovely, their personalities and service added to the whole experience. Our only regret is that none of us live locally otherwise we'd be using his service for every event in the future!! Cannot recommend Erik more. Thank you so much for such a lovely evening! More...
