About Carlos:
Carlos Ramos is a RIBA Chartered Architect and ARB-registered professional with over 30 years of experience in architectural design and construction project management. With a career spanning Portugal and the UK, Carlos has worked extensively with rural landowners, farmers, estates, developers, and self-build cooperatives.

From designing bespoke homes to overseeing large-scale developments, Carlos brings practical expertise and a creative vision to every phase of the building process. His portfolio includes high-end apartment schemes, barn conversions, and new builds in the UK’s West Country, as well as numerous residential developments in Portugal.

Carlos earned his MSc in Construction Project Management from UWE and has been living and working in the South West since 2015. A dual citizen of Portugal and the UK, he now resides near Taunton with his family in his beautifully renovated home.

When not designing, Carlos enjoys travel, walking, running, cycling, sailing, and skiing.
