Caremark Northampton

We switched to Caremark Carers last November from another provider, and I can honestly say it was the right decision. They care for my mum, who has dementia and can be challenging at times, but they are always patient, understanding, and compassionate. They truly get the illness and offer not just support for her, but for me as well. Having a team that actually listens and helps makes such a difference.

Carers are very friendly and my mother loves their company.

Caremark have been looking after my mum in conjunction with a PA for the last couple of months. We’re really happy with the service we’ve received. Managers are approachable and responsive to changing circumstances and demands. Caremark Northampton have mad a huge impact on my dad’s health and wellbeing. Within a short space of time I seen an improvement in my dad with his hygiene, medication control, and cleanliness. My dad always speaks highly of the carers from Caremark, and was so happy when they bought him a card and chocolates for his birthday! My Grandmother receives care three times a day and she has been very happy with the service she receives. Carers are friendly and compassionate and assist with a wide range of tasks. Would recommend.

Caremark have been fantastic. From the first meeting with staff to discuss our friend’s care needs and through a very difficult time of frequent hospital admissions the Caremark carers were kind and supportive. They really do put care at the heart of everything they do. Nothing was too much effort. And this was maintained even whilst our friend was in hospital and unable to receive her regular care visits, by the backup team in the office who kept in touch by phone and text.

I have given a 5 star rating as this company/staff are always going above and beyond. My dad has been with the company since the beginning of the year. My dad is very very specific how things are done and can be quite demanding. They have catered and adapted with my dad really well. Every time I have needed to call/email. My mum has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and although I have been her carer over the past couple of years I also work full time in a local care home. I've been getting exhausted and wanted to take a break away. Emma Jayne came to do the assessment at home and I was impressed from the get go. I was then contacted by the managing director Prab who was extremely supportive and helpful in setting up a care package within days and more importantly in time for me to fly on my holidays, I naturally felt guilty about leaving mum but I needn’t have as I could see each day via our home camera system that her team of carers were giving mum excellent care with a personal touch. It was quite emotional when I saw mum greet her carers with a hug as she was so pleased so see them. I can highly recommend Caremark if you are looking for home care. Caremark began providing for my relative at the end of January 2024. I felt that my relative would be more comfortable with a male gentleman providing his care, and Ahmed became his named carer. The care and attention when we needed it most has been excellent.

Caremark have been very understanding in a situation I had with my aunt who is 95 years of age. She was in and out of hospital etc and Caremark arranged care for her and were very understanding when she was returned to hospital. They sorted out the type of care that was needed, the amount of carers and when I wanted them to attend to my aunt. They were always there at the end of the telephone to give advice. Caremark had been recommended to me as a very professional and flexible caring company. We were really impressed by how quickly they came out to assess our needs & how quickly the care package was set up. Caremark make a point of allocating you a carer who is a really good fit for your needs & personality.
My husband recently had a very serious MS flare up & as I am still recovering from surgery and radiotherapy, I was really struggling to care for him, as well as myself and our home.

My sister-in-law is a residential care nurse with many years of experience in the needs of the elderly and less mobile people. Therefore we had "inside knowledge" of what we were looking for regarding Domiciliary Care for our mother who has Parkinson's Disease and very limited mobility. Caremark have been fantastic every step of the way. I first contacted them in February and they were so professional and friendly compared to other companies. They really took the time to understand my grandad’s needs and how he could best be supported. The care plan encourages and empowers him to be as independent as possible in a safe environment at home.
