What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start a Care Package Plus because I’ve always believed that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued—especially in their most vulnerable moments. After seeing first hand how quality care can change someone’s life, whether through supporting a loved one or working in the field, I realised there was a real need for services that are both compassionate and person-centred. I wanted Care Package plus to goes beyond ticking boxes—one that truly listens to individuals, treats staff with respect, and raises the standard of care in the community.

Domiciliary care, also known as dom care, home care or care at home, is a form of social care that enables people with care needs to remain in their own home rather than moving into a care setting or staying in hospital. It is defined as the range of services put in place to support an individual in their own home. With domiciliary care service, you get to live independently at home while someone comes in to help you with your day-to-day living services and certain health care issues.
Care Package Plus assist with everyday tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, medication support, mobility, and companionship.
