What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that I get to combine my 2 passions; marketing and driving commercial performance with the creativity of interiors. These may sound an odd combination on the face of it, but actually they work really well together. After all, some of the P's of the Marketing Mix relate to the physical environment, and physical evidence, people, and place...by incorporating my broader interpretation of brand into both interiors/the ergonomics of a space, I feel we can deliver a truly integrated brand experience whether you're interacting with a brand online, or in a physical store.
Having said that, we also do everything to do with marketing; advertising, branding, social media, audits...so no job is too big or small. I just feel the added element of interiors makes us truly broad in terms of the service we offer. We can add a bit more lateral thinking. It's not always needed by our clients, but it's there and enhances our work, should it be required.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I felt there was a gap in the market for freelancers /consultants who could offer everything in terms of digital marketing but also could bring that to space in the physical world.
In my corporate former life, I had a lot of experience delivering omni-channel campaigns and I wanted to bring that to SMEs. Also I love the variety of working for different clients, totally different projects and the great feeling of making a difference.
Why should our clients choose you?
I can do whatever is needed in terms of marketing, and I can add breadth and depth to any project with my additional skills. I like to think I'm also easy to work with and flexible, so don't be scared off by the big projects and brands I've worked with...I love bringing my big brand experience to small businesses where I can make a real difference.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Absolutely. I am happy to work remotely, in person or hybrid. I am based in Hampshire but I do also cover London. Anywhere else further afield I can cover remotely or with scheduled visits.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I think this is an old question now given it's 2025 :-) but rest assured I still sing Happy Birthday while washing my hands, and continue to follow any updated advice.
