We had wanted a bespoke company portal to enhance our service offering to our clients for some time, with off the peg versions just not satisfying requirements. As much as we wanted to develop our own system, we always felt that the costs would prove prohibitive. However, following a tentative enquiry we quickly realised that the seemingly unattainable may actually be within reach. From the first meeting, to concept design, development, testing and ultimately implementation, Russ and the team at Boom Software exceeded expectations and held our hand every step of the way. The brief was pretty basic given our limited technical capabilities and understanding of what could be achieved. We knew what we knew, but the enhancements proposed by Boom took the concept to a level beyond our imagination. Russ quickly gained an understanding of our industry and services ensuring that the early prototype was a close representation of what we hoped to achieve. As work developing the new portal progressed, we were constantly provided with versions of the new application to road test and asked for feedback. Any glitches or additions were actioned quickly and without fuss to the point where the system exceeded expectations and, having worked closely with our marketing team, looked amazing. The new portal application is proving extremely popular with our existing clients and has helped secure work for new clients as an added value service assisting them to manage and maintain their property portfolios.
