What do you love most about your job?
The opportunity to improve the lives of our customers by offering a premium service that we would expect for our own loved ones.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our decision to become part of the Bluebird Care family was compounded when dealing with care for my grandmother and subsequently my wife’s grandmother and the lack of compassion and professionalism from the care providers we dealt with.
When the opportunity to start our own Bluebird Care business became available to us, we did not think twice about it, our own experiences and the values Bluebird Care bases its business on was a perfect match, we are proud to be offering care to the residents of Surrey.
Why should our clients choose you?
What makes our home care services different? We put you first, every time. Our aim is to provide the standard of care that we would want for our own families.
Our services are flexible and respond to your changing priorities and needs. We help you to stay in control of your own care as far as you are able. That’s why we always listen carefully to what you tell us about how you want to receive your care and support.
Our staff recognise the unique qualities of each customer and see the whole person, not just a list of care needs. We value and respect our customers and the different ways they choose to live their lives.

Companionship Care
Companion care is a type of home care, delivered by a care assistant. A lifeline for many, companion care offers tailored support and friendship. It might be accompanying you to social events. It might be support with domestic tasks. It might be a regular catch-up over a cuppa.
Respite Care
Respite care is usually a short-term package of care from someone who isn’t your loved one's regular carer. Respite care from Bluebird Care would take place in their own home and allow you, as their usual carer, time to rest and take care of yourself so you are better able to take care of them.
Domiciliary Care
We offer the highest quality domiciliary care (also known as home care), allowing you to enjoy support you need in the place you love.
Everyone is unique, and your care should reflect that. We build our domiciliary care services around you, offering support tailored to your unique needs. We work with you to develop a custom plan, putting you in control of your care.
Live-In Care
Live-in Care is the height of personalised support and is all about choice. The choice to continue living life with freedom, the choice to continue enjoying hobbies and activities, and the choice to create a routine of care that ensures all these things can happen.
The main difference with this service is that a Live-in Care Expert will live in your home, on hand to deliver the support and care needed to safeguard your independence, keeping you at home for as long as you choose.
A tailored care plan will be designed around your needs, for example if you need active support during your Live-in Care Experts breaks or overnight, another Care Expert will be on hand to deliver the high-quality care you expect.
Sleeping Nights
The care assistant sleeps at the property for a minimum of eight hours and is on hand if required. This option will suit if you don’t require regular support, but feel uncomfortable when left alone throughout the night. Anxieties and sleep deprivation can soon be improved with a sleeping night care professional there to support you. Having that extra night care at home can really help you remain healthy and happy. If assistance is needed more than twice during the night, this will be considered a waking night.
Waking Nights
The care professional is on duty throughout the night for a minimum of eight hours. This is the best support option if you or a loved one wakes several times perhaps being disorientated or needing to go to the bathroom. If you wake at regular intervals during the night to change position due to injury, or if you have to administer medication at regular intervals, this is likely to be the best choice for you.
The waking night care professional is there at your side as and when you need them for the duration of the night, providing a high level of expert support.
Dementia Care Specialists
We provide specialised dementia care at home through our nationwide team of experts. We offer private dementia care services focused on managing symptoms while providing emotional support. We understand the challenges of living with dementia and aim to address them.
Dementia can shrink one's world as it progresses, making life outside the home challenging. Our in-home care helps maintain a familiar environment and routines, allowing your loved one to continue enjoying life's important moments.
Transitioning to new routines and environments can be daunting for those with dementia. We emphasize home care over residential care, enabling your loved one to stay in their cherished surroundings. Our services are tailored to your family's unique needs, offering a compassionate and flexible approach. Contact us to learn more about our dementia home care services.
Alzheimer's Care
Alzheimer’s is a progressive condition that may cause a loved one to need extra help and care. At Bluebird Care, we believe in and see the benefits of allowing someone with Alzheimer’s to remain in their own home. That’s why we offer specialised and tailored Alzheimer’s care, to enable individuals to stay in familiar surroundings and support their overall wellbeing.
We provide additional assistance with physical, behavioural, and emotional needs. Our highly trained carers operate a person-centred view of Alzheimer’s and dementia, ensuring our customers maintain or improve their quality of life and offering great peace of mind for their families.
End of Life Care
We are dedicated to providing a comfortable, professional and compassionate care service for customers during the final stages of life. We design an end of life care plan that puts individual requirements at the centre. We can work to ensure family and friends are included in this process too if it’s what the care recipient wants.
Our domiciliary care service will then be tailored to meet specific needs and preferences. We value and respect each person’s spirituality and their right to dignified care at this time of their lives.
