We love helping people remain as independent as possible within their own homes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Blakewater Homecare Services Ltd. was born out of the founder’s experience of receiving poor quality end of life care for a close family member. We wanted to do something that would have a positive impact towards improving care for others, and that would allow people to make choices about how to remain living independently in their own homes.

Home care services that help people to live the life they want!
Sometimes the things we used to do easily can become a little more difficult, such as taking a bath, getting dressed in the morning or using the toilet.
This can feel frustrating, but it shouldn’t stop you getting on with your usual routine. We support people to do these things so they can continue to live independently and with confidence.
Or perhaps you have more complicated needs, maybe you require the Support of two Care Workers several times a day, and you have a hoist? All our Support Workers undergo Moving and Handling theory, assessment and practical training, which is refreshed annually to be able to support you competently.
We aim to provide personalised home care services that suit every client’s individual requirements and circumstances perfectly.
Our clients are at the forefront of everything we do, and we believe that the warmth and expertise of our team is the key to great care.
All of our Homecare assistants are highly trained, fully insured, reference checked and DBS cleared.

All our staff will wear PPE and manage infection risk in accordance with the current national guidelines.

Companionship for when you need a friend or a chat over a coffee.
Respite care provides caregivers a temporary care arrangement to allow a much earned break from the pressure of caring for their loved one. Respite care can be integral to you and your carer’s routines. We understand that a much need break goes a long way for you and your carer’s general wellbeing and can be very helpful even for your main carer to complete their own daily tasks.
We offer flexible care, which will be decided by you and your Carer. We will provide the support around what you would like and need, whilst maintaining your usual daily routines.
Household Cleaning / Domestic Duties
From keeping your home clean, to light duties- such as bed making etc, we have you covered!

You have a right to decide how and where you wish to receive palliative care, including within the comfort of your own home, surrounded by those you love and a compassionate care team.
We work in partnership with other agencies and healthcare professionals to ensure that you can plan for what you want and ensure you are provided with specialist support that meets your every need in a comfortable and dignified way.
Dementia Care
We fully understand that changes to routines, environments and faces can be a very daunting prospect for those living with dementia and their family. Therefore it can be very important to stay in a home that you know and love.
Our highly skilled staff can provide person-centred one-to-one support, which focuses on maintaining your skills and confidence whilst supporting you to lead a safe and happy quality of life.
