I’m Victoria, though most call me “Tory,” and I’m an Independent Modern Celebrant based in the heart of beautiful Northamptonshire.
I believe every person is one-of-a-kind, and that their ceremonies should be just as unique. Whether you’re honoring a life lived or celebrating a new beginning, I take great care in crafting ceremonies that truly reflect the individuality and essence of each person or couple.

I could not have been happier, from beginning to end we planned the perfect day. So many little moments became such a big memory, attention to detail was above and beyond anything we expected. Thank you 🙏🏼

What do you love most about your job?
I am honoured to be able to help people celebrate some of the most important moments in their lives. Joyful events such as Weddings & Vow Renewals, Naming Ceremonies and much more. I am also humbled to support those who are bereaved, celebrating the life of a loved one is far from easy, it is a very difficult as anyone who has experienced loss will tell you. Celebrating your loved ones life in a truly unique and memorable way can be both joyful and cathartic at the same time. 'Life should always be measured in moments & memories.'
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
A combination of both really. The ceremonies themselves are generally in person events although not always.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Most of the Wedding consultation process takes place on line unless we plan for an in person meeting /rehearsal ahead of the big day. Funerals are somewhat different, I usually visit the families or individuals at home as it is a very difficult time for them. I follow any advice at the time as safety is of paramount importance.
Wedding Celebrant
We are all unique individuals and your big day should be truly unforgettable. As your Celebrant I will work with you to create something that is not only memorable but truly unique to you and that celebrates your love story. Unlike the more traditional style of ceremony you have the freedom to write your own vows and promises and carefully decide what you’d like to include when you celebrate your big day, your way.
Blended Ceremonies
There are so many ways to make your big day truly magical. Unlike traditional weddings, a Celebrant led ceremony allows you the freedom to blend your belief systems uniquely.

I offer you the freedom and flexibility, to be as creative as you wish when planning your special life event, the sky is the limit!. Whatever the event. It could be an uncoupling ceremony, graduation from University, a special Birthday or Anniversary I can help you mark your occasion in almost any location.
Funeral Ceremonies & Memorials
Losing a loved one can be devastating as anyone who has experienced loss themselves will tell you. I will embark on the journey with the bereaved offering my support, empathy and time with the intention of making the process a little easier at what is such a difficult time. My commitment extends well beyond normal expectations as my aim is to ensure that this day of all days will be cathartic by crafting a significant, heartfelt and memorable farewell. When a Child Has Died As part of my commitment to supporting families during the most difficult times, I offer my funeral celebrant services without charge for children and young adults under the age of 18.
Naming Ceremonies
A naming ceremony is a beautiful way to welcome a new life into the world or to celebrate a new identity at any age. As a Modern Celebrant, I create personalised, meaningful ceremonies that reflect your values, beliefs, and hopes for the future. Whether you're marking the arrival of a baby, the blending of a family, or a significant personal milestone, your ceremony will be crafted with care, warmth, and authenticity.
Unlike a humanist celebrant, I can include spiritual or religious elements such as prayers, blessings, or symbolic rituals—if you wish. There are no fixed scripts or restrictions: your ceremony can be as simple, joyful, traditional, or creative as you like. Together, we'll design a celebration that honours your journey and the people you love most.
Vow Renewal
A vow renewal ceremony is a heartfelt opportunity to celebrate the love, commitment, and journey you’ve shared—whether it’s been 5, 15, or 50 years. As a Modern Celebrant, I work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship, your values, and the story you've written together. It's your moment to pause, reflect, and say "I still do" in a way that feels truly personal and meaningful.
Whether you'd like something intimate or a gathering with family and friends, your ceremony can include readings, rituals, or even a symbolic re-exchange of rings. And unlike a humanist celebrant, I can include prayers or blessings if they’re important to you. There are no rules—just the freedom to celebrate your love, your way.
Hand Tying - Tying the Knot
Hand-tying, often known as handfasting, is a timeless ritual that symbolises unity, connection, and the binding of two lives. Whether it’s part of your wedding, vow renewal, or a standalone celebration of your bond, this ancient practice brings a beautiful, visual element to your ceremony. As a Modern Celebrant, I’ll help you design a hand-tying that feels authentic and personal—rooted in tradition, yet entirely your own.
You can choose ribbons, cords, or natural fibres in colours that hold meaning for you, and include words, readings, or blessings as your hands are gently bound. If you’d like, I can also incorporate spiritual or religious elements such as prayers, making this ceremony inclusive and adaptable to your beliefs. It’s a powerful and poetic way to honour your commitment—and to literally ‘tie the knot.’
