My neighbour had her roof cleaned by this company and we had zero warning that it was going to happen. One (very windy) day, moss starts falling into our driveway, side alley and back garden and we see that she’s having her roof cleaned! The company didn’t let us know it was happening and to expect a mess, and they didn’t explain to my neighbour what to expect either, otherwise she would have notified us. Anyway, when I asked if the mess would be cleaned up they said yes, it would. What they didnt go on to explain is that they would need use of our outside tap and our water supply to clean their mess, on our land, caused by a job on my neighbours house! 🤷🏼♀️ so as I wasn’t aware of this, I didn’t have a chance to explain to them that the outside tap is really tricky to turn off. Then 5 days later I happen to notice it’s been left leaking all that time! When I brought it to the company’s attention that they left our tap leaking, they just said it wasn’t them! Well, I know it was as I hadn’t used it in months (being winter) and being that I also know how to turn it off (like I say it is tricky). So yeah thanks for the apology. What inspired you to start your own business?
Bedford Window Cleaning was started back in 2007, we started to be able to provide a different class of cleaning standard and quality of customer service, we are a small family business and like that we are able to control our services at each and every level.

We can sometimes provide quotes fro our services remotely, using tools like Google Street-view and Earth, however we may still need to visit your property to give you a quote. For all of our services we must be present at your property.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have ensured that we follow the strict ever changing guidance, currently (Jan 2021) we are able to work. We maintain social distancing to ensure both our customers and our staff are safe. We have contactless payment methods.
Roof Cleaning
With our Roof Moss Removal ands Softwash service we are able to safely removal all the moss from your roof. We then Treat your roof with a biocide treatment to remove all Algae and Lichen.
We carry out the cleaning without causing any damage to you roof, depending on the roof type and the condition of the tiles we will use various access methods to carry out the cleaning. We are fully IPAF qualified and regularly use mobile scaffold towers and MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) to Carry-out our work.
Once the cleaning process is complete you can expect between. 2-6 years without any moss re-growth, this is all dependant on the environment around your property.
Gutter Cleaning
Bedford Window Cleaning offers a Domestic Gutter Cleaning service for all types of Houses, Park homes, Caravans, Conservatory’s. All our operatives are fully trained, we use professional Gutter-Vac systems, CCTV inspections and mobile scaffold towers where necessary.
All our cleans are backed up by a 12 month guarantee.
When undertaking any form of cleaning service we ensure that we comply fully with Health & Safety/Working At Height Regulations to ensure a risk free, professional service at all times.
Conservatory Roof Cleaning
We have cleaned all manner of conservatories and their roofs over the years.
We use Pure-Water Fed poles to clean the roof panels and trellising without causing any damage or water ingress.
This will leave your Conservatory Roof Looking its best. We reccomend you have your conservatory roof cleaned at least once per year.
Solar Panel Cleaning
Solar panel installations are usually so high that it is difficult to see how dirty they are becoming over time. The first tell-tale signs will normally be a reduction in efficiency and therefore a reduction in the amount of money you are making on your original, expensive investment.
Various studies have confirmed a correlation between electricity output and the cleanliness of the glass covering your solar panel installation. If you notice a continual reduction in output then this is probably an indication that cleaning could be required. Less sunlight being absorbed by built up dust and dirt means less light reaching the cells on your panels. As a rule, improvements in output of up to 25% can be found through solar panel cleaning.
We use telescopic ultra-light carbon-fibre water-fed poles fitted with soft nylon bristle brushes which gently agitate the stuck on dirt. No detergents or other chemicals are used, only pure, de-ionised water.
We work from the ground ensuring safety requirements are met at all times – no ladders making holes in your lawn or flower borders, no need for scaffolding and no clambering over wet, slippery roofs.
We leave your panels looking brand new, crystal clear and streak free. Most importantly we will be saving you money.

Bedford Window Cleaning offer our Window Cleaning service to Domestic customers across Bedford and surrounding areas. As part of the clean we always clean all the frames and sills and doors, this is our standard service. We also remove all cobwebs from around the windows to keep your property looking its best.
Most of our customers choose to use our services on a 4, 6 or 8 weekly frequency, but we are happy to accommodate your needs if you wish to have them cleaned on a different frequency.
Price depends on the size of the property and access to the property.

We would with a variety of suppliers to provide bespoke colour matched lime mortars and for newer properties we can match Portland cement mixes to match the existing brickwork on your property.
