We appointed Bayon to come up with some ideas for a house renovation and extension for a property which was a slightly unusual design. Designing an extension that was sympathetic to the house was a bit of a challenge but Wyn came back with an attractive design and also gave us some ideas on the layout that met out needs and saved us a significant amount of money. How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Avoid pre fabricated garages and a well built masonry construction and concrete floor
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Damp proof and insulate the shell, bit of building where the garage door was and maybe some repair or renew the roof if necessary
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Headroom is the first thing to check and access, fitting in the stair as not to take up valuable usable floor space
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Check headroom and where the new stair will go, evaluate the work needed to achieve building regulations approval. Natural light ? Roof lights, dorma, gable or box dorma are common alterations included in a loft conversion
