What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is making a real difference in people’s lives — whether it’s helping a young person find stability and purpose, or supporting someone to remain independent in their own home with dignity and comfort.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about building trust, seeing someone grow in confidence, or simply knowing that our presence brings peace of mind to families. No two days are the same, and every person we support has their own unique story. Being part of that journey is a privilege.

What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration came from a deep desire to provide care that truly puts people first. After working in the care and support sector, I saw first-hand how impersonal and inconsistent some services could be — especially for vulnerable young people and adults who deserve dignity, respect, and real human connection.
I started Avec Support Ltd in 2019 because I believed there was a better way. I wanted to create a service built on compassion, reliability, and quality — where every individual is seen, heard, and supported to live their best life, whether they’re a young person finding their way or an adult wishing to stay safely in their own home. It wasn’t just about filling a gap in the market — it was about raising the standard of care. That’s still what drives me every day.
