I booked Aspect on 29/10 for leak detection and boiler pressure drop issues at my property. The first engineer visited and merely confirmed what I already knew — that there was a leak somewhere in the heating system, not the boiler. This was exactly what I had mentioned while booking the job, so the visit added no value. After a couple of calls and feedback, Emanuel (the account manager) contacted me and assured that the issue would be properly addressed with another appointment scheduled for Friday. The second engineer spent 3–4 hours on site, even leaving for a couple of hours in between, while I had to stay home the entire day. He claimed to have fixed the problem, but within an hour the boiler pressure dropped again. I immediately called Aspect to report the issue, and the same engineer returned — only to confirm that the leak still existed. Unfortunately, things got even worse after he left. A major water leak occurred from upstairs, flooding from the first floor to the ground floor. Since Friday evening, I have had no heating or hot water, and despite multiple attempts to reach them, there has been no response from Aspect or Emanuel. To make matters worse, on Monday, they charged me £850 without even contacting me or discussing the work supposedly carried out since Wednesday. Gutter cleaning, fixing and roof checking. fantastic service, easy booking! knowledgable trade person, very friendly and helpful went above and beyond, nothing was too much - did more than expected, worked independently, clean and smart, wasn't pushy about work needed and suggested what was best for us re pricing. Really pleased that I used Aspect to source/repair a leak in my bathroom. The engineer used thermal imaging to help ascertain where the leak was coming from. Minimal removal of tiles/floorboards as the plumber took a cautious process of elimination route. New pipe was added and new rubber binding added between old and new pipe which is a very long term solution. Plumber was professional, hardworking and friendly. The cost was highly competitive so pleased that I chose Aspect as it was a big job because my entire bathroom floor is covered in ceramic tiles. All in all a very pleasant experience. More...

Extremely disingenuous company, steer clear at least for leak detection works. After we engaged them specifically to detect and fix a leaking pipe, they advised that there was no leak and that we needed to do boiler repair works exceeding £1. 5k instead (although the boiler had been working fine). We trusted their professional advice, but once these boiler works were completed it became clear that their analysis had been wrong, and they advised there was indeed a leak. They initially agreed to set off those wrongly incurred boiler repair costs against future leak detection fees if we booked with them. We agreed, but they then reneged on this arrangement. We needed to sue them in small claims court in order to find a resolution, in circumstances where the facts could not be clearer. Even there, they were quite aggressive and resisted reasonable settlement. A different company came and found the leak in a couple of hours for c. £600, so I suspect they simply upsold us on the boiler works as we trusted their word as experts. Avoid. More...

I can not rate Aspect and Ben, the engineer who worked on my case (J-344619), highly enough - he's been absolutely amazing with what was a very tricky job of detecting leak(s) in the heating pipes underneath my floorboards. It happened at 6 pm on a Friday night and Ben got sent out within the next hour. He was very skilful detecting where the leak was in the first place and then ever so careful sawing into my floorboards to leave as little damage as possible. He made sure he explained everything he was doing in detail and that I was aware of every next step. He was a rather calming influence to have in all the stress of the burst pipe and broken down boiler. He's proven to be as much carpenter as plumbing engineer - I am ever so thankful for the work he did. And as the job took several days and long hours - he made sure a temporary solution was in place to provide me with hot water and heating for some parts of the house at least. Needless to say all is back in working order and some very old plumbing underneath my house has been replaced and made good. I'd always call Aspect again (but hopefully won't have to...)!! THANK YOU! We called Aspect and had an emergency call out for a blocked drain less than 5 weeks ago. Over the weekend we has the same issue. Aspect wouldn't guarantee their own work and today we called another drain specialist who cleared quite alot of gunge from the drain. Clearly Aspect had not cleared the drain properly during the first call out. The second plumber was quicker, cheaper and more efficient. Aspect where quite expensive and although they come out quickly, which is good, we expect the work to be done effectively and last more than one month. In my experience with Aspect leak detection plumber is very good because he done a pressure test of the water leaking in the hot and cold water pipes and told me where the problem lies and what I can do next, The previous leak testing company just done the gas test and put in a new plastic pipe and never tested it again and went they should of done a pressure test of both pipes and then left, so now I have to get a plumber in to replace all the pipes when I have some money. I made a huge error in the beginning I should have of got Aspect to do all of the works they are a good company and very thorough with their work. More...

Two Aspect drain unblockers and repairers examined the drain from my ground level toilet and cleared brambles and roots using a powerful machine with a rotating knife head which they ran up and down the pipes for about 30m. The camera showed the roots had been cut away. They recommended that cracked length of drain should be repaired to prevent sewer collapse. They carried out the repair with a glass fibre mat impregnated with resin placed inside the pipe with a baloon former pumped up to hold the patch in place until the resin cured. The final camera survey showed the completed patches in place. The men doing the work were very competent with many years experience and with good comunications and explanation of the repair system. Lee and a colleague turned up to our property to deal with a leak under our floor boards. They completed the job with great professionalism and as quickly as they could. Lee was always exceptionally polite and courteous. His Manager was also great at explaining the process throughout. A previous company had suggested we needed to take up the bathroom floor (recently tiled) to access the pipes, however the Access team were able to carry out the fix without any need for that. I would absolutely use them again. Emergency plumbing isn’t cheap, but better to get professionals that are knowledgable. If we had gone with the previous company, it would have cost double.
