We are an independent company specialising in welding, metal art, sculpture and bespoke metal work projects located in Bridport, Dorset. We also carry out general fabrication works across the South West including Commercial Metalwork .
Founded in 2021 by Alastair, an Engineer with years of experience and an insatiable enthusiasm for creative projects.

We are working really closely with Alastair at Arc Edge on 5 separate, but interrelated metalwork elements, as part of our regenration and improvement project at Town Mill, Lyme Regis. I was let down by another company for a steel bracket to be made for an extension we are building it could have caused us great delays in completing our project but Alistair took the design made the bracket that fits like a glove and when DPD couldn’t deliver it on time he hand delivered it himself to us. What do you love most about your job?
The variety of jobs tat come through the door, each with their own complexities and complications. Seeing the finished product and happy customers is what really drives me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked at large engineering companies since a young age I decided I needed to break away and see if I could create something special by myself. With a head bursting full of ideas I set up Arc Edge Metalwork Ltd in September 2021...so far so good!

I'm a keen problem solver that pays attention to detail. I have taken on a number of complicated and complex projects and my customers have always been happy with the results. Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Consultations can be carried out remotely to a degree. Unfortunately there is no way of welding remotely.
Mobile Welding
Our fully mobile welding set up enables us to come out to your property or site and conduct repairs, maintenance and general welding activities at you convenience. Call out fees apply.
Fabrication
At our workshop in Bridport we can fabricate a wide range of metalwork products from gates and railings, outdoor and indoor furniture, staircases and many many more bespoke projects.
Artwork and Sculptures
We have a range of contemporary and traditional sculptures that we have created here in Bridport and we are always open to hearing the ides of our customers and bringing them to fruition in order to create a piece of art that will be appreciated and last.
General Welding and Repairs
No job is too small for us here and we would much rather see your items repaired and put back into service then scrapped.
