He guided us on finding the perfect 6 course menu for my sisters birthday and delivered, beyond expectation on each and every dish.
David and his team came at exactly the time he had said and was so efficient, professional and precise with the whole menu! They also left the kitchen immaculate before leaving!
We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. I would highly recommend booking if you are considering a private chef!

Chef David really knows his stuff and was a delight to liaise with before and during our company BBQ, which was our first full company event following lockdown! From start to finish the whole experience was flawless. On the day, he catered for 75+ of our crew and didn't even break a sweat. The menu choice was perfect for all our special dietary needs and the quality of the produce used was top notch. Exceptional food and exceptional service. We hired The Epicurean Food Company to attend a Weekend event at Ingliston, Edinburgh. The quality of the produce they brought for our BBQ was second to none, the food was loved by everyone, so much so, everyone is still mentioning how good it was as a highlight of the weekend. As caterers, they were immaculate and professional throughout both Saturday and Sunday. The setting of the tables with condiments/ salads etc to the service which they provided was outstanding. They went above and beyond over the weekend, catering to everyone's requests, doing more than what we asked, it really was appreciated by the staff of our company. They really are everything you would expect from a catering company and more. Despite setting up in an unfamiliar kitchen, David was professional and unflappable. He gave us great confidence. His service and attention to detail were tremendous. What’s your signature dish?
I love all food so I can't choose one dish!
I love wild mushrooms with fresh organic garlic cooked in creamy butter with a pinch of sea salt and pepper, and sprinkled with fresh herbs on a bed of freshly baked bread. Cant beat the smell and taste of fresh artisan bread.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Dishes are created from imagination and inspiration, I like to talk one on one with clients to listen to their ideas and perhaps i can add that twist to make it special for them.
What do you love most about your job?
I put my best in every dish, focusing on the ingredients and feeling very satisfied when I receive empty dishes back from my clients.

Private Dining
We send you a menu selector , then we will call you to discuss your choices. 2 ,3 courses or 7 course tasting menu ?
We quote for your Chefs Table event which can be between £50 & £125 per person all inclusive
Chef then buys the ingredients , does some basic preparation
Chef comes over and cooks in your kitchen at home or on holiday , serves each dish , then cleans up before leaving.
Epicurean Buffet
Hot or Cold , or combination of both. High end local products . Live cooking by the chef can also be a part of this. We will send you a selector and you can pick and choose whatever you like for your buffet setup. Live cooking options can be from as simple as a Risotto , Pasta or Steak Diane indoors to a Steak with Chimichurri on the BBQ outside.
BBQ
We use top quality products from reputable and award winning suppliers for your BBQ. We bring all equipment, plates , cutlery , napkins and the chef will cook for you. Standard or Premium , Private at home or Corporate we come to you.
