AKN Care & Support Services, Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide home care and support to adults (18+) in their homes. AKN Care is managed by a team of qualified nurses and care workers with over 40 years combined experience in health and social care in the UK and Europe. Our priority is to ensure that our service users receive personalised care that is of highest standards.

We provide the following types of support to our service users:
Personal Care (on a contracted hours basis), Medication Collection & supervision, Personal Hygiene support and assistance, Meal preparation and healthy eating and nutrition support, Live-in Care, Daily Living Skills support such as shopping and housing work, Sign posting to other professionals and agencies if required, Accommodation with Care, Shared Living, Reablement Services, Support with benefits application, bills, debt management, banking and budgeting, Attending appointment including GP appointments and collecting prescriptions, Maintaining their home and tenancy, Employment and training support, Support in accessing and participating community based activities of interest, Support in accessing religious and cultural activities and support with Keeping in touch with family and friends.

All our care and support staff are DBS checked to ensure that they a safe to provide care. We ensure that they have suitable training and qualifications to provide care. We will ensure that we match you to the staff who will be best suited to provide you care and/or support. We offer affordable and realistic care packages that are tailored to meet your individual care and/or support needs.
