We present your company in the best possible light.
Yellowbrand is a niche brand-specific agency with three main service offerings;
1. We create naming, graphics and go-to-market messages for new businesses.
2. We manage growing companies’ communications, particularly in times of change or growth.
3. We help companies examine core strengths for business-friendly rebranding programmes that deal with changing a perception, entering new markets, or with merger and acquisition.
Within all these segments we deliver all marketing collateral across every touchpoint.
Events and PR, print and online collateral, airborn media like radio, all advertising media, all content and promotions
Although we work for companies with National and Global reach, we serve local organisations competitively as well.
What makes a great website?
A great website looks fab and loads quickly, with well defined simple content and pictures, a clear business objective and of course a compelling reason to get in touch. Websites work best if part of an online strategy including advertising and social. Usability across devices is vital. If it won't work on a phone it won't work. Using technologies that are platform safe is a good start.
A website needs to be considered as a reasonable investment and not as an ongoing liability. Budget planning and therefore active scope are key to success.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Customers. They really only care about themselves. I need to know a lot about your customers in order to make materials that will appeal to them. Research and feedback is a good place to start.
Budget, timelines and key people.
Describe your creative process.
In simple terms:
Discovery, realisation and delivery need to work together.
Discovery: Who are you? What do you do and why does it make a difference? Research of customers, business offer and competition for any brief is essential. Realisation means pushing creative boundaries but not breaking them. Delivery means planning and thought about how best to engage an audience, and should be an integral part of the creative process.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Like any good project management exercise I need to know
• key objectives
• review and measurement needs
Sometimes I write the brief if customers are too busy to do so.
What do you love most about your job?
Creativity for business - i love helping companies harness creativity. It’s been proven over and over that companies using creativity at the heart of their business strategy perform better across a raft of metrics. What I love is the true craft of communications from top line branding to the niggling day to day details.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been in this business. After years working the big agencies in London, I co-founded a mid sized communications agency in 2000, growing to 8 people and £0.5 million turnover. I then created a boutique brand-specific agency to focus on the aspect I always loved most: Branding.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a realist. The most important thing I can offer customers is overview. With 25-plus years in the communications game I have a pretty clear roadmap which helps me plan and cost significant initiatives. I can call on some trusted sources to get things done to the highest professional standards. And because I really care about my customers’ brand image, everything I do is geared to its business success...
