What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
No big secret, but I believe you don’t ‘take’ a great photograph but ‘make’ a great photograph
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
1.What is the emotion, feeling or vibe you want to portray in these images? Is it fun, playful, mysterious, cute, serious etc...?
2.What do you want to stay away from? Are there any cliches in your industry or things you are sick of seeing?
3. What are the things you HAVE to have in the images?
4. How many images do you need? Can you explain each image that you want?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people all the time, the satisfaction of an end product, the gratification a great photograph can lead to.
I like telling a story through photographs, and capturing moments.
It fits in around my children as I’m a single parent, family is very important to me. This enables a healthy work/life balance.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My late wife, has inspired me. She always wanted me to follow my dreams, to push myself. Everything I do is for my children and her memory.
