More business than pleasure but none the worse for that. If visiting the uni it is perfect, but if visiting the town you need a bus/taxi. You can use the uni bike service more or less free if you get to town within 30 mins ( I think!) More...
The perfect place for stop overs. The room was clean and comfortable, the stuff so friendly, we feelt really welcome. Our daughter was so happy here, and the extra cot was perfect. Thank you so much for a great stay. More...
Nice venue. Not convenient for the nearest train station. Wheelchair friendly entrance but sadly only a few spaces allocated for disabled folk. What was inexcusable was that there are only 2 accessible toilets. For a hotel that is looking to have conferences, weddings and other events to only have 2 accessible toilets is simply not acceptable. My wife and I attended a conference for folk affected by Ataxia (which is a rare condition which affects mobility amongst other things). It was an enjoyable day but marred by having to queue for the toilets. On the plus side the hotel is situated in a picturesque setting and the staff were friendly and helpful. The conference rooms and dining rooms were first class with nice table linen. We did not stay overnight but the lunch was enjoyable. More...
A clean, modern (ish) hotel with a large bar and restaurant. Attended a conference here which was well organised and the hotel was a very good location. The Stirling University campus is incredibly verdant and beautiful in spring and summer which is a bonus. More...
This venue has a lot of space for large conferences and is also capable of running multiple conferences at the same time. The location is open and offers plenty of scope for outside breaks and walks. I would be happy to attend a meeting here again. More...
Visited there about a month ago for a meeting. Beautiful place Stirling. Hotel and surroundings very nice. Had lunch food good.
Only visited for a conference but seemed like an excellent venue. Good was very tasty.
Really great facilities, ideal for a conference or just a wee break in Stirlingshire.
Good service. Clean rooms. Catered dinner and breakfast were delicious. Good vegetarian options.
Used this hotel for a professional event due to its ideal location and good quality business services.
Lovely food, friendly staff, great powerful shower and comfy bed! Would happily visit again!
Excellent staff and nice clean hotel. Once of the most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel. Would definitely stay again.
Attended business conference at hotel. Great reception from staff and lunch was really nice. Beautiful part of the world...added bonus of seeing some squirrels and baby deer roaming around outside while having lunch. More...
Excellent service. Great coffee from Alan the bar man. Reception team very helpful and will definitely use the venue again
There for a weekend conference. Room OK, but shower head in bathroom was about 3 ins from the ceiling and well out of my reach. Water lukewarm. For me, food was underwhelming and always lukewarm, even breakfast. Only choices as a non meat eater available to me was pasta (twice) and rice (risotto). Would eat out next time. Staff very nice. We happen to get a handicap accommodating room; for this it was excellent.
The while place is very nice and fancy our twin beds were older and springy. (For myself, after three days of tenting, it was still a welcome rest.) More...
Great service. Food good. Rooms are high quality student accommodation rather than plush hotel
It's beginning to look a little shabby in places, doesn't seem to have changed much in the last 5 years or so. The restaurant staff were courteous and efficient. Food was pretty good for mass-catering and was part table service (starter) and part buffet (main course). Coffee was thick and sludgy but there were a variety of very nice cakes served with it.
