In every business, its people are its key asset. They provide both challenges and solutions to running a business and I love exploring how to resolve those or using them to transform a company into a great place to work.

Having worked in a number of larger companies, once they had reached a certain size, the employees tended to be forgotten. Unfortunately, this often lead to higher turnover and dissatisfaction. In SME's there is a closer relationship between employees and their business and it is this that we wanted to foster.

Our main objective is to get to know your business and people so that we can provide the best possible service and solutions.

Services

These are the basics, the things that all businesses whatever the size should have in place. We offer two packages to address this.

+ A Startup HR Kit for small or startup business with no HR documentation in place. Our bespoke introductory package provides everything you need, including contracts of employments, an employee handbook containing key policies and standard forms / guidance on key HR processes.

+ An Advanced HR Kit for larger businesses or those with more established employment arrangements. Our advanced package will help you better embed your unique culture. The kit incorporates the Startup HR Kit, but also includes stand-alone detailed HR policies.

Some businesses have employees in-house that take on some HR responsibilities but who have limited HR experience so may need some help. That is where our HR training for non-HR professionals comes in.

Our Group Coaching Programme includes 6 sessions covering:
1. Key legal considerations for HR
2. Maintaining compliant operational HR practices
3. The basics of managing employee relations issues
4. Effective recruitment
5. Pay, benefits and reward
6. Developing an HR plan

Whatever the size of your business, HR systems can reduce the amount of day-to-day HR administration and create a more professional working environment for staff. We have carefully selected 3 partners to deliver flexible cloud based HR system solutions to our clients:

+ Our HR Information System (HRIS) offer electronically stored employee records, online holiday approval / booking, sickness reporting, training record management and right to work / DBS record management

+ Our Recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS) offers a bespoke branded job board on your company website, the ability to advertise vacancies across a range of website and online applications and candidate shortlisting

+ Our Staff Rostering system provides cloud based shift allocation, email / SMS reminders of upcoming shifts, colleague shift swapping functionality and time / attending monitoring

With all of these systems, we will implement them on your behalf, provide on-going support to employees and generate relevant quarterly management reports

At one time or another all business owners worry about whether they are getting the most of of their people or if their teams are truly aligned to the culture and values of the business. We offer:

+ Our Core Package reviews your existing HR documentation, the company hierarchy, examines employee feedback and includes the development of a HR plan

+ In addition to the Core Package, we offer enhanced options that explore the following:
- Company wellbeing review
- A training needs analysis
- Leadership feedback session

All our retained packages are for a 12-month period and give you access to telephone / email advice and recruitment support.

If you select our onsite package you will also benefit from our suite of HR systems as well as your own dedicated HR Consultant who will create and manage your HR calendar.

As a retained client, you will also be able to take advantage of preferential project rates and services.

Many business work with recruitment agencies who charge a large percentage fee for each hire? The challenge is whether those agencies really understand your business and add value to the recruitment process.

We offer flat fee recruitment support where using the clients brief / JD we generate an engaging online advert to post on key job boards. We will then provide a shortlist of suitable individuals as well as manage feedback to unsuitable candidates.
