What do you love most about your job?
The thing we love most about our job is making women of all ages feel confident, glamorous and happy.
We love to meet new people from all walks of life that all share one thing in common, the desire to look and feel the best versions of ourselves!
If we can make a person feel overjoyed with happiness and exude confidence on their special day then we have done our job.
We have always been creative with art, and we are lucky that our job allows us to constantly create new looks and try out different products and techniques.
Most importantly, our motto.... If you love what you do, you never have to work a day of your life!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We trained as professional dancers from the age of 15 to 21. After graduating performing Arts college we worked all over the world and across London dancing for various different artists and tv shows, theatre shows and all types of entertainment. We still dance professionally and it is still a passion of ours. This is also where our love for makeup came into our lives. Constantly spending hours in hair and makeup chairs for different jobs, being glammed up by the best in the industry, we watched these artists carefully and picked up skills that we still carry with us today. The detail that goes into every face, the techniques used, the tips given to us performers will always be embedded in our brains.
We have always loved makeup, and always had each other to practice on. So 3 years ago when we started to do more and more makeup for different events and occasions, we finally decided to do a professional course and start up our makeup business "The Purple Twins'.

With there being two of us, it means we can make up a party of ladies in half the time.
Our approach to the process is that of a 'glam squad'... as we grew up and worked with teams of professionals all our lives.
We are always very organised, on time, and super prepared for any look you desire.
However long you spend with us during your makeover, we promise to always make you look and feel like a star!
