We love legacy every time we stay. The units are almost exact down to the furniture. Really it’s prices that vary the most as independently owned units can roll out their own fees. ||We have used two rental companies Airbnb ( sherona is a designated super host) and Reynen Internet rentals. ||All units from both companies have been lovely but a few import differences between being owner rented and company renting on behalf of others :||Sherona- Airbnb is a tad more expensive BUT the units are impeccably kept and everything you could every need is in it. The beds are also high quality as with everything in her units. Worth the few extra bucks if you want no hassles. Lovely cookware and beautiful decor |One text and what ever you need is done - amazing service ... top notch||Reynen Internet Vacation Rentals:|Cheaper for sure but every unit has had some issues. Things that matter like broken lamps or missing items like scissors, laundry pods, pans that are NOT new and everything sticks. Does seem like owners treat like rentals so still nice but not amazing. The owners are a couple and thier grown daughter. They are all nice the only issues is the manager( daughter) consistently does not return calls. BUT If you call her again boom she has what Yu need done. ||The resort itself is bar none and weekdays you usually have a pool to yourself. We love the place and it’s our new family place !!!! My husband and I chose this venue for our wedding in May and it was the best decision ever! We had all our guests come in from out of town and everyone couldn't stop raving about how amazing it was. The grounds are stunning and the venue totally fit my Spanish style vision. We loved our villa and relaxing by the many pools that are scattered on the grounds. We also enjoyed breakfast at the resort's restaurant, The Grille the morning after. You get a LOT of bang for your buck with this venue and the owner was great to work with as well. If you are looking for a Palm Desert paradise for your wedding where your guests can also stay in beautiful villas on the premises, then look no further! More...

Stayed two nights near the end of January. Location is great, room was nice, grounds are great as is the main pool. All the employees were friendly and helpful. We had to "rehome" a couple of unwanted visitors in our room (cockroaches) but just two and they were easily placed outside using a cup and paper. Will for sure come back. More...

This is a beautiful unit in The Legacy Villas complex. We had 4 adults and 2 kids, very comfortable. We made a full Thanksgiving dinner with a fully stocked kitchen, lovely dining room. Plenty of couch space and a large TV over the fireplace. The unit has a private balcony and spectacular view of the hillside. Very quiet and private, with a pool right next door. What a bargain in July! You cannot beat the tranquility of the Legacy Villas. We had a fabulous stay over 4th of July week. The resort was very family friendly and quiet at night. We were able to travel with our dog - which was a fabulous escape from the usual fireworks stress! There are so many pools that we found ourselves the only occupants on several occasions. We liked it very much and would highly recommend staying at his resort. ||||The weather was very good, except for one day when it got cloudy and chilly. These condos are individually owned so they may not all be as nice as the one we had that was at the foot of some beautiful mountains and near 2 different pools. Spacious. Clean. Well maintained and with everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. Our unit was one story with no shared walls so it was very quiet. We enjoyed lounging outside around the firepit and the close proximity to the restaurants and spa at La Quinta Resort. Avoid the studios and smaller units in the center of the complex as these seemed dark. Main pool good sized and had a small restaurant with burgers etc you could eat poolside. Reasonably close to Polo Fields and Trader Joes is about 2 miles away. More...

The Legacy Villas is a beautiful resort that provides a relaxing environment. It’s great for groups. I went with my family over Labor Day weekend. We had a 3 bedroom 3 bath villa. Each villa fully equipped to meet our needs. We stayed near the main pool which has a nice small kids area. My daughter enjoyed it. Check in was a breeze. I will definitely return next year. We have been staying at the Legacy Villas for years. We enjoy regular vacations with family and friends of all ages. Big festivities or small groups, our experiences have been nothing short of amazing. The units are spacious and incredibly well appointed. The grounds are simply beautiful and meticulously maintained. The location is perfect, nestled at the foot of the majestic desert mountains. And the value for the $ can't be beat.
