I asked Janice to be the hair stylist for our wedding in May – to create hairstyles for three of us. We were delighted with the results. As the bride, I opted to have a hair trial as I wanted something which was fairly elaborate and was keen to see if this would work for me. This was a very good move, as it also allowed Janice to see and use the hair accessories which I had chosen. Janice also offered some very valuable and effective hair care advice for me, well in advance of the hair trial, so I would have my hair in the best possible condition – and I’m sticking with that advice! We were all so pleased with what Janice created to achieve three very different looks and she made everybody’s hair look fantastic. My hair was one of the major talking points of the day and I am sure I posed for as many rear-view shots as I did for front-facing shots, as everybody was so impressed with my hairstyle. A wonderful experience with Janice and Rachel. Even in the trial Janice was giving me tips how to get my hair in the best condition for the day. She turned up on the day spot on time and seemed to know exactly what me and my bridesmaids all wanted (despite our pretty vague descriptions of the styles we wanted). My fiance booked Janice to do my hair after I had a breakdown trying to find someone to do my hair and makeup. She gave me instructions on what I needed to do before she showed, and she had no problem dealing with some limitations of the hotel room where I got ready.

Janice was incredibly nice, and I LOVED my hair and makeup. As an American traveling to Scotland for my wedding, I wasn't able to do a trial run with her, but did several trials with different people back in the states. And by far, Janice's work was the best. My skin looked amazing without looking like I was wearing 90lbs of makeup. I wanted to look relatively natural, and as someone who doesn't typically wear makeup, I couldn't give her much direction. But, it's like she read my mind on what I wanted when I gave her free reign (I basically just told her to do what she thought would look good).

And my hair while a relatively simple braided updo looked amazing. So much better than my trials.

Janice did the hair for myself and my three bridesmaids at my wedding in June 2018. Having had a trial I knew what I was having, but all of my bridesmaids had just arrived in Scotland for the wedding a few days before and so hadn't had a trial, and Janice did a fantastic job of coaxing ideas out of three indecisive girls fairly quickly and making each of them look both unique and fantastic! One bridesmaid who has pretty short hair was stunned by how pretty and 'full' Janice had made it look. This lady is just fantastic! Janice did an amazing job both before and on my big day. I had a massive confidence issue and Janice helped me through it with so much great advice and patience. I booked Janice to do my hair and makeup for my wedding at Dalhousie Castle in July 2016. As I didn't live in Scotland, I wasn't able to have a trial but this wasn't a problem for Janice, I simply showed her some pictures of what I liked and she was able to make me look beautiful on my special day! I thought it was impressive that Janice was talented and brilliant at both hair and make up - which meant that I just needed to book one person! My hair was perfect, it stayed in all day and was very pretty. Janice was professional throughout, all communication was prompt and helpful, and she was very lovely on the day.

Janice did my hair and make up this weekend for my special day. Janice is really warm and friendly and made me feel so relaxed on my big day. I’m not one for wearing lots of make up and asked for very natural make up and Janice did a perfect job and gave me a look exactly as I had imagined. My hair is super straight normally and I normally don’t do much with it. I eloped in Edinburgh from the States and called Janice extremely last minute (2 days before the wedding day)! She offered to do my hair and makeup herself if she could not find someone from her crew to do it for her. However, she did find a team member, Rachel, and she was absolutely phenomenal! She brought all of her supplies to my hotel room, and made very friendly conversation while she did my hair and makeup. After reading the excellent reviews I decided to book Janice for my wedding in November. I met Janice yesterday for my wedding hair trial and she immediately put me at ease and I could tell straight away that she had a wealth of knowledge and experience. She listened to my thoughts and ideas and was able to advise me as to what would suit me. I showed her my wedding dress and some pictures of hair styles that I liked on Pinterest. Not only did she style my hair EXACTLY as I wanted it, she added little cream roses to show me what it would look like on the day with fresh flowers. She then took photographs for me so that I could see the back properly. Janice also advised me on some excellent hair products that would help strengthen my hair and improve the condition of it in time for my wedding in November. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Janice to any prospective bride.
