What makes a great website?
A great website design is one that your customers can use! Too often websites are messy and not easy to navigate around, which means that your potential clients get frustrated and don't complete their order or use your service.
At Create a Peach we truly believe that all websites should be clean, modern and fresh, whilst remaining eye-catching and fast-loading. We also ensure that there are no broken links, no excessive coding (which can slow down the site loading speed) and great SEO keywords to ensure you're at the top of Google and other search engines.
A great website is one that is easy to use and easy to find.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When starting a new project you can have as much or as little input as you desire, some of our clients have a clear design and copy text in mind, where as others have the name of their company and little else. We can work with both of these scenarios.
When starting your project with Create a Peach we will ask you the name of the company, the brand ethos, colour scheme, what message you want to give your clients and any other relevant details depending on what we are designing for you. From there we will work together to create something that truly reflects your brand's identity.
Describe your creative process.
When we receive a design request we will ask you for as much information or your thoughts on the design as you have, this helps us to envisage what you have in mind and create something that is right for your business. We will then sketch and mock up some initial ideas, these are then digitalised and tweaked and sent to you as concepts. You can then select one of these concepts, or request refinements. Create a Peach will not stop until you are happy!
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
At a minimum Create a Peach require your company name and the nature of the business.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Prior to starting Create a Peach I worked for other companies, in their design departments, usually creating graphics for shows, promotions and websites, whilst I loved this, it was quite restrictive. After having my son I realised that I wanted to continue doing what I loved, whilst having a healthy home-life balance, this gave me the perfect opportunity and time to begin designing for a broad range of businesses through Create a Peach. Working for so many different companies means I am no longer restricted and enjoy creating many different styles and messages
