A website must firstly carry and promote the company brand whilst communicating in a clear and informative way.
It must communicate everything you need potential customers to know and remember about your business.
Your website must be engaging whilst working with guidelines set out by the most respected search engines.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

Do you have text/copy for the required work?
How long do you envisage the project to take?
Will the client require regular progress meetings in person or would the client be happy to communicate remotely?
Have you a logo that is required as part of the project?
Has the client sourced their own images or doe they require them supplying?
Is the client happy to use stock imagery?
As part of the project would they like to use info graphics?
If commerce is required does the client have a database of stock with accompanying images?
Does the client have a preferred "Shop" template/provider?
When building a website would the client prefer a Content Management System?
Is there a requirement for ongoing support after a website has been completed or would the client prefer to take over the maintenance of the site.

What information do you need from a client before you start work?

A full brief is always required before work can commence.
This is not always available from the client as they are sometimes unsure about what they need or are not experienced in putting a brief together.
We help our clients understand what they require by going through the options available, discussing what they want to achieve and explaining what their budget is realistically likely to provide.

What sorts of printing projects do you usually cater for?

We cater for all types of printing projects from small postcards and company stationery through to catalogues and brochures, whatever you can think of we can provide the print you require through our network of print suppliers throughout the UK.

We consider each and every project as a new and fresh challenge that will excite both designer and client.
Every project is approached with two things in mind.
1) Create the most impactful solution to the clients audience whilst taking into consideration: product, brand, demographic, sector, market, competition
2) Implement marketing strategy to get best ROI for the client
We engage with our clients and get to know them and their products/services. When we understand what they need to achieve we then provide ideas and options of how to provide what they need.

What information do you need from a client before you can start work?

Before starting work it is always best to have as much information as possible about a client and their project as a clear brief and understanding of a business gives us the best platform to work from.
This is not always possible so we have ways and means of woking around this with the client:
1) Questionnaires
2) We can do the research for the client on products and services
3) Provide back researched information so the client can make more informed decisions about what they need
4) Meet with the client and discuss what they want to achieve
5) Provide multiple options for the client to move forward with

What do you love most about your job?

Our most valuable experiences are when a client is overjoyed with what we have delivered, when what we provide has gone past their greatest expectations.
Our clients enthusiasm and joy which we have induced is greater than monetary rewards as we also get a thrill from their success.
Knowing our clients now tell everyone else about how great we are is recommendation that can only come from doing a great job for our clients.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having worked in the industry for a number of years I became disillusioned with how many agencies worked and decided to provide a better service at less cost to clients.
As we are a small company that provides a personal service to customers we can hold on to the values that we have at the heart of our business:

We wanted to supply solutions that address each and every brief individually in a fresh and imaginative way ensuring every client is treated with the same high standards that we live by. We don't supply off the shelf, out of the box solutions as this would be voting and all our work would look the same. We love challenging briefs as they give us the chance to explore new solutions for our clients.
Our clients receive one on one service from the individual designer/art director/marketing manager directly working on their project. We are a business that only provides high level services from professionals. You will never be passed on to a junior representative of the business as we do not employ any.
