In addition to arts reviews for the local press and arts press releases, have written a collection of short stories, three of which have been published. I've also completed a novel.

I also have a blog page but this is only updated when I really feel I have something to say.

Three children's books and a series of cartoon etchings. I work in a retro watercoloured drawing style and also a collage and ink style.

I have experience of working with children aged 6 and upwards - not only in English but other primary years subjects. I also work with teenagers and adults. I am an experienced GCSE and A level examiner.
I am also a parent which I think gives me an extra dimension of experience and understanding.

My area of speciality is with younger children and less able teens. I work from age 6 to lower tier GCSE.

As someone who struggled with Maths as a child, I know what it is like to find it difficult. This helps me think creatively outside the box when teaching new concepts and also helps me to bring some depth of understanding to the task.
