Sarah and Paul Photography

Hi! We're Sarah and Paul. We both first picked up cameras when we were kids which now gives the benefits of being "real" photographers with decades of experience. We pride ourselves on offering a unique package of both traditional and contemporary photography. We are very friendly and easy to work with. Our package always includes a 'pre-wedding' shoot as we like to get to know you both well. You being relaxed with us makes for such nicer photos. Your wedding day will be a whirlwind and our aim is to provide you with images that will bring back memories for a lifetime. We always supply digital images but we can also provide you with a choice of albums. Whilst we have a guide price we're always more than willing to tailor something special for you, however, we do get booked up very quickly. We offer that you can secure us with a small booking fee with the remainder payable nearer your wedding day. We are also happy to take your payments in installments at no extra charge, helping you to spread cost and budget.

What do you love most about your job?

Knowing that people will be able to treasure the photos we take for many years in the future. A good photograph will help someone recall memories of that moment forever. Also knowing that future generations may look at that photo and wonder what was happening when it was taken.

What inspired you to start your own business?

We only started at the point we knew we were ready to, experience-wise. Even then it was very scary. Knowing what we did on the day would be what our customers had forever.
That said, it was also knowing that we did have a good product and that people would get value for money from our business.
We would never look back. We love every minute of it and we hope that shows in our work.

Why should our clients choose you?

We are very friendly and easy to work with. Our package always includes a 'pre-wedding' shoot as we like to get to know you both well. You being relaxed with us makes for such nicer photos.

Your wedding day will be a whirlwind and our aim is to provide you with images that will bring back memories for a lifetime.

Whilst we have a guide price we're always more than willing to tailor something special for you as we know everyone has to work to a budget.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Not applicable. 99% of our work is weddings so we obviously have to be there on the day. Obviously we can provide the edited photos to our clients online.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

For weddings that can/did go ahead throughout the last few months, we were very aware of peoples' concerns about the virus. But then we some simple changes to where we stand to take photos and PPE, the weddings are largely unaffected.
We also realise the benefit of enlisting people in bubbles; for example, having someone who is in the bride's bubble to help tend to her dress etc, so we don't have to.
Everything is possible where there is a will.......

Every couple wants their wedding day to be the best day of their life. The job of a wedding photographer is to capture the memories and the emotions of your wedding day, so that you never forget it. Future generations will be able to look back on your wedding photos as a defining moment in history and feel the emotions of your day.

Although there is no requirement to have two photographers for your wedding, it allows more moments to be captured. For example, one photographer can be with the bride whilst she is getting ready whilst the other captures the arrival of the groom and the preparations for the ceremony. Having two photographers means that you’ll get shots that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise, and capture more memories of your special day.

The number of hours of wedding photography that you need depends on how much of your day you want to document, as well as the timing of your day. Most couples choose for the photographer to arrive an hour before the ceremony to capture the final preparations, and then stay until the end of the first dance. 6 to 8 hours of coverage is usually plenty for small to medium sized weddings.
