‘19 Certificate of Excellence

I am a relaxed reportage wedding photographer, based in Lincolnshire, UK. Your wedding, lifestyle or boudoir moments are a story waiting to be told, my style of reportage visual story telling will capture those emotions and memories whether it is a low key ceremony, destination wedding or a lifestyle session of yourself, your partner or your family.   I travel throughout the UK and Europe, and no destination is too far for me. I support the LGBT community and welcome same sex ceremonies.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the social aspect of my work - from meeting the couples, to being a part of their family in a sense, because during a wedding I'll be interacting with most family members and guests. I take the vibrancy and energy from each wedding I shoot and let it guide me through the day. When shooting couples, families and portraits, I enjoy learning more about my clients. From shooting a surprise engagement to a lifestyle session for a client's grandma, it means the world to me that they choose me to be the one who captures a moment in their lives.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Photography came into my life very randomly, but it felt so natural. I seem to be able to express myself better visually through a photograph than any other way, and because I enjoy showing others how I see the world through my work, it pushed me to start my own business. It's important to me to stay true to myself and my style, and let that be a crucial aspect of my business.

Why should our clients choose you?

As someone who's well travelled and worked their way up from almost nothing, I am very relaxed, down to earth and enjoy working with people from all walks of life. To me every client is equally as important, and I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of people I have worked with. My relaxed European attitudes is what, I believe, has made many clients enjoy working with me. I listen to the client, first and foremost, and then translate their wishes into a piece, that also contains my personality and my style.

Every couple wants their wedding day to be the best day of their life. The job of a wedding photographer is to capture the memories and the emotions of your wedding day, so that you never forget it. Future generations will be able to look back on your wedding photos as a defining moment in history and feel the emotions of your day.

Although there is no requirement to have two photographers for your wedding, it allows more moments to be captured. For example, one photographer can be with the bride whilst she is getting ready whilst the other captures the arrival of the groom and the preparations for the ceremony. Having two photographers means that you’ll get shots that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise, and capture more memories of your special day.

The number of hours of wedding photography that you need depends on how much of your day you want to document, as well as the timing of your day. Most couples choose for the photographer to arrive an hour before the ceremony to capture the final preparations, and then stay until the end of the first dance. 6 to 8 hours of coverage is usually plenty for small to medium sized weddings.
