123 photography capture our wedding day perfectly. <br />Prior to the day, Dan was always available to get in touch to discuss the finer details and was very professional throughout. We chose to pay for an additional photographer; Dan captured the bridal preparations beautifully and Charlotte the groomsmen antics. Dan did a really good job at our wedding in Leeds, joining us in the pre-ceremony pub drinks, on the vintage bus, at the Town Hall and at the reception at Kirkstall Abbey. I can't recommend 123 Photography highly enough! We used 123 Photography for our wedding and we were extremely pleased with the results. Dan was amazing, he was very structured in his approach which really helped take the pressure off on the day and was incredibly creative in his photography and production of the wedding book. We had a winter wedding and Dan offered great value for money with the out-of-season package, which allowed us to add-on extras for a fantastic rate. He really listened to what we wanted with regard to style of photos and a laid back approach. We chose 123 Photography because we were so impressed with the DVD with video clips as an option, rather than a full wedding video that we were not keen on having. For us, this was the perfect compromise. In order to secure 123 Photography 14 months in advance of our wedding, we paid a deposit based on a basic package and were told we could change this package at any time. A month before our<span id="moreReview518320" class="hide"> wedding, we spent two hours in a pre wedding shoot, taking a number of video clips to ensure we were used to filming on the day. At the time, we had a lengthy discussion with 123 Photography about this package, and foolishly we assumed this conversation would be sufficient to ensure video clips were taken on the day. Towards the end of our honeymoon, it transpired that no video clips had been taken at the wedding, moments we hoped had been captured were lost forever. At this point, my husband then informed me that in the two weeks leading up to the wedding, he had struggled to get in touch with 123 Photography to finalise details for the day, only getting a response 5 days before the wedding. He also had to resend our photo list the night before the wedding, away from home without access to the computer the list was saved on, which had already been sent to 123 Photography twice previously, adding unnecessary stress. Whilst we had sufficient photos for an album, previous requests had been ignored, and ultimately we didn't receive what we had expected. We were hugely disappointed with 123 Photography, we had no apology, just an attempt to shift the blame to us, which was very upsetting. With hindsight, I should have summarised the lengthy conversation from our pre wedding shoot in writing, I hadn't anticipated that I would need to organise our photographer to such an extent, along with everything else for the day. We cannot recommend Dan enough as a wedding photographer. From initially meeting Dan to collecting our photographs, he was so great to work with and prompt at getting in touch (which was essential for my bridezilla side). No one in the wedding party is used to having their photo taken, however Dan and his colleague made everyone feel at ease. We got married in April 2013 and used Dan at 123. Photography. We booked Dan in July 2012 because as soon as we saw his work we very extremely impressed. The final pictures that we received back from our wedding day exceeded our expectations above and beyond. They were absolutely incredible. We could not have found a better photographer for our wedding in Lanzarote. From the moment I first contacted Dan though email he was punctual in his replies, very professional and I got an instant feeling that he would do a great Job - and he did, in fact I would say exceptional. We emailed for months before the wedding, we then met in person a couple of weeks before hand to discuss how the day<span id="moreReview383934" class="hide"> would run and what pictures we wanted taking for formal shots, we also at this point saw the DVD slideshow he makes, and decided to get one ourselevs and we did not regret it. On the day of the wedding, Dan was fantastic he arrived at the apartments early and stayed until after the first dance, and captured all the moments inbetween, in both Formal and informal photos. All our guests have commented on how nice, professional and pleasant he was and he just worked away in what seemed like the background as he was so professional and polite towards everyone, he even knew how to handle the Pageboy who wanted to be in every shot. Dan was kind enough to go to the trouble of getting a picture printed for us before he left Lanzarote to return to the UK and dropped it off at our apartment. On our return to the UK Dan was in touch to arrange for us to come and collect our DVD Slideshow and CD, it came in a lovely box and presentation folder to keep safe. What can I say? A truly remarkable photographer. We are from Ireland and got married in Lanzarote. We decided to choose 123 Photography because of how impressive the website photos are. During our day Dan captured every moment possible through his photos. He took some formal shots and some relaxed and caught off guard shots of people with genuine happy and silly faces. Many of our guests commented how much they appreciated this. Dan was calm, professional and completely at ease with our guests and venue, taking everything in his stride and capturing our whole day perfectly.
