Mellz created a personal mood board ahead of the shoot that suited the girly, fun personality of our daughter. She captured amazing family moments of all three of us. As it was Christmas time we also got Christmas photos of our daughters first christmas which turned out beautiful. What I loved most about our session was how great Mellz was with our baby she got so many smiles out of here. After the session we were able to come back for a viewing of all our photos, choose the 3 we got included with the package then choose any extras we wanted to get physical copies of. We got all digital copies of the pictures we chose then got a beautiful 3 book folio and then mounted physical pictures. Mellz was so professional, easy to communicate with, has great photography skills and provided an overall amazing service. I would highly recommend her to everyone with children. My family have a few thousand photos glued into large hard copy albums, that needed scanning and sharing. It's one of those jobs that everyone says "but I could do it for free, if I buy a scanner". The reality is that it takes a LONG time to scan an old-fashioned album with multiple photos per page. It's worse if your albums are larger than A4, because if you don't want to spend a fortune on an A3 scanner, you end up having to scan every page twice.
After 10 years of people doing one album and getting fed up, it made sense to outsource to someone with a bigger scanner and better photo-editing skills.
I collected quotes from as many shops as I could find in Kent and was surprised by how few there are. Most weren't prepared to take on so many photos and those that would used couriers to collect and deliver the albums. We weren't comfortable with sending precious 120-year-old photos to someone we'd never met. The big name photography shops expect customers to stand in the shop and scan everything themselves - on A4 scanners.
Luckily Bromley Photo Studio opened up just as I was collecting quotes. Simon matched the price of the other shops I'd found and I was able to drop off and collect albums in person. He was very careful with our albums and checked what we wanted to do about things like photos that were overlapping.
We chose not to have any photos enhanced, but I might go back with a select few.
The portrait photos on display are really amazing too - check out the ones of the chefs! Not the usual cheesy portraits.
I would definitely recommend this shop to friends and family.
