Specialising in documenting full-day & micro weddings and couples, whether that be proposals, engagement photos or just looking to create new memories. I’ve been a photographer for over 7 years now, having previously worked in events in Oxford.

Engagement Photography
We had a 2h engagement photoshoot earlier this week in Hyde Park and Kensington. The pictures are wonderful and we are super happy with the result. Those are probably the best pictures of us we ever had. We showed a few pictures from Pinterest of what we wanted to do, and Tanaka helped us recreate those. Having Tanaka as our photographer for graduation photography was amazing. A thorough professional, he was very prompt with communication and always responded within 10 mins. He was very punctual and in fact, arrived 15 mins early and messaged us to say he has arrived. Although a professional photographer, he was very flexible with our inputs as well. The session overran a bit but Tanaka was accommodating and patient and stayed till finish. We received the photos exactly on the second day after the event and they are absolutely top-notch. He has, very beautifully, showcased our emotions along with the scenery, making them all the more special to us. The candid photos he’s taken have captured our genuine emotions. My family and I employed the services of Lusengo Photography for my brother’s graduation day. The photographer arrived promptly at the stated time we’d requested and took a number of great photos.
He has a great eye for candid moments as well as general direction to place the subjects of photos in great locations, to make sure each moment was captured perfectly.
The pictures were emailed to ourselves less than 24 hours after the shoot and we as a family could not be happier with the outcome! Would definitely recommend using Lusengo Photography to friends and family alike.

What do you love most about your job?
There’s always been something special to me about capturing a moment in time and being able to re-live those moments. It’s always a massive privilege to play even the smallest part of someone’s special day and it always gives me great pleasure having a happy client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It all started out as just a side job while at university, turned hobby and before I knew it I had bought my own camera! I realised this was something I found great pleasure in so I knew this was something I had to pursue and I've never looked back!
Why should our clients choose you?
As mentioned before, I’ve been a photographer for just over 7 years, so I have the experience. But it also goes beyond that. Due to my unique upbringing which I’m thankful for, having been born in London, schooled in South Africa, It’s allowed me to see the world more, be mindful and appreciate other cultures as well as made me adaptable and I like to think I genuinely get along with almost anyone!
The day is all about you and at the end of the day it's all about the story you want to tell. My job is to seamlessly capture your story in an unobtrusive manner to authentically document your intimate moments to create timeless memories.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I will adhere to all requirements requested by the client. Though I will always come with my own face covering and hand sanitiser.
