For our Wedding Joanne and I, knew we needed a photographer, a family member suggested Krys Polkino to take our photos. We didn't want to miss a thing but at the same time we both felt that we wasn't photogenic. Krys suggested to us, to do a pre-wedding shoot, Joanne chose Sefton Park in Liverpool, which has a very relaxing park to walk around. The pre-wedding shoot helped to put us both at ease with him and his camera but more importantly, it meant that we were not strangers when he turned up on the day.Krys has a friendly unassuming approach and he makes you feel comfortable no matter what you are wearing, jeans or a suit. His photographic etiquette is one of pure warmth and with a little direction from him, he was able to capture a glow within us that I thought was never possible to be caught on film. A few days later Krys showed us a preview of some of the photos from our pre-wedding photo shoot, we where to say the least -blown away. His creative style of soft focus and depth of field created a magical back drop to our portrait shots and capturing us both in this way was amazing and left us reeling for more.Our wedding ceremony was on the 9th April 2016 and at 5pm and was to be held at St George's Hall, one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world, a Grade 1 listed building. Krys listened to our plans for the day and then plan his photo schedule around us and our guests. We wanted Krys to capture this architectural masterpiece along with our 1930s Beauford wedding car.Kry arrived mid-afternoon and spent some time taking photos of me (the groom) and best man getting ready at my house and then traversed across to the other side of the city where Joanne had stayed overnight and took photos of her and her entourage getting ready. At the ceremony Krys mixed effortlessly with our guests continuously shooting making sure that he had a good selection of group photos where everybody's face could be seen clearly. Later in the evening at the after party we wanted Krys to try capture the spirit of our guests with them truly being themselves. We supplied a bag of props for each table at the venue, and Krys didn't disappoint. Krys had a long day, that lasted well into the evening, where he captured the atmosphere perfectly!If anything can be drawn from my brief meeting with Krys and how he make me feel and my wife Joanne, I'd have to use words and statement like: easy going, approachable, organised, considerate, creative, passionate, professional, excellent composition skills, proportional height differences control well, unique, artistic, magical, contrasting, noir, dynamic, inspiring, and enjoyable!Thank you "Krys Polkino" for making our photographs of our Wedding day magical and memorable. ***** - Mr & Mrs Bennett

I've been taking photos since I got my first (cheap) digital camera as a teenager, mostly taking photos of gigs and nights out with my friends. After graduating from university, I worked a 9-5 as a project manager, while taking photos on the side. After a few years, I decided that the office life wasn't for me, and decided to spend more time doing what I love, taking photos, and made the transition to being a photographer full time.
The freedom and variety that having my own business gives me while getting to do what I love full-time means that I'm not looking back!
