What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There are many factors that go into taking a good photo, like attention to details, understanding the exposure triangle, using good lighting etc. However, I think also having the feeling involved in taking the photo is super important. My favourite style of photography is natural, I like to capture people laughing or chatting to a friend. I like to capture nice moments, that make us feel warm inside.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How many hours do you want to hire me for, all day or half a day? What kind of style of photography do you like? e.g - more natural shots or staged? Do you want a wedding album? How many guests are at your wedding / event? Where is your locations for your wedding / event? What is your schedule for the day?
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is making people smile! And I love capturing peoples special memories, it is a privilege.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography has always interested me. When i was a kid, i remember always looking through our family photo albums and wedding albums. I have fond memories of looking through my grandparents wedding album from the swinging 60’s, all in black and white. I must have gone through that wedding album a million times, it is so beautiful.
I felt so grateful that these photographs were taken, so that 57 years later I could also share in the joy of that day. I heard a quote once that really moved me, it was from a surprising source - Downtown Abbey ?. It was from Mr.Carson, my favourite character. He said - “The business of life is the acquisition of memories”...that is what I want my photography business to be grounded on - capturing memories to last a lifetime and beyond.
The memories we make in life, whether that be an engagement, wedding, anniversary, family gathering, graduation, opening a business, the birth of a child. These memories shape us into the very people we are today. They are precious, and should be cherished. That is why photography is so wonderful.
When i first started this business, I was only doing events, portraits and commercial. I definitely needed a lot of practice before I started doing weddings! I had my first wedding back in July last year, and another one in the September. I was super nervous at first ?…however both went really well and I got some fantastic feedback that gave me such a confidence boost. After those weddings, I mustered up the courage to include weddings in my photography.
In 2024 I am looking forward to helping more people capture their most precious moments.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I only started this business after the pandemic, so I have never needed to abide to any restrictions. However, if we were ever to find ourselves in a situation like that again (lets hope not!) then I would make sure I have all necessary procedures in place.
Wedding Photography
Wedding packages available:
Silver: £400 - No longer than 4 hours coverage. (half a day) Includes all photos and professional edits on a USB for you to keep.
Pearl: £500 - All day wedding, includes all photos and professional edits for you to keep.
Diamond: £650 - All day wedding, includes all photos and professional edits for you to keep with a wedding album.
Your photos will be delivered no later than four weeks.
For photo albums, this is subject to my supplier's delivery timescales.
Please note, prices can vary depending on the amount of time required.

Business (commercial) Photography
A one hour session of photography is £50.
This includes an unlimited amount of photos for your business, capturing what ever your business needs. The photos are delivered to you online.

Engagement Photography
My Engagement shoot is £100, this includes all your photos and professional edits on a USB for you to keep.
Feel free to get in touch for a free consulatation, we can discuss the time, date and location of where you want to do your shoot.
Good locations for photography shoots are in wide open spaces, so a beach, field or local park are always great!
Family Photography
My Family shoot is £100, this includes all your photos and professional edits on a USB for you to keep.
Please note, I do not have an indoor studio, so my photography sessions are always at an outside location. To be honest, I've always thought it looks much nicer in the great outdoors! Good locations for outdoor photography are in wide open spaces, so a beach, field or local park are always great.

Band Photography
The Band shoot is £100, this includes all your photos and professional edits on a USB for you to keep.
Please note, I do not have an indoor studio, so my photography sessions tend to be at an outside location. However, I can do any indoor locations, as long as I have permission.
